I Still Beleave there is a check sum error when it tried to load the save.
Changing data in the save file creates a
different offset.
When the game loads it checks the save.
A Check Sum save patch might have to be created..
so it seems to be the same before editing the save.

Hmmm, so do you know what car each hex code points to? If not, there's a topic somewhere where STAT-X uploaded a WIP list of hex codes for cars.

cool! so how you manage the checksum thing? you already add M3. i try add it but the checksum thing occured... im not that advanced like you, but i know a little(at least i can hex MW). if i can, im gonna add all bonus car into career car lot(cars that can't be brought)

Have you tried using the Most Wanted Save Editor that could fix checksums? Just move your Carbon save into the Most Wanted save folder and fire up the Save Editor. See if you can fix the checksum that way.

I used Tsearch to edit the savegame while Carbon is running, so far I only managed to get cars in the carlot if they where unlocked in the game.
For example, I tried getting the Chevelle in the carlot before I unlocked it but it didn't work, but after I unlocked it appeared.

Maybe there a part in the savegame that keeps track of the cars you've unlocked. We need to hex that part too I think.

Now the problem is i think, that there are cars wich can't be unlocked, because they didn't ment to be in this version of the game. I'am thinkin about the Zonda & '71 Challenger, which are exclusive only in the EA Download version, so in the normal CE version u will never unlock them. I found the '71 Challenger Hex code, and I figured out that there 01 in the code, so in theory the car should be in the carlot, but it isn't! There's another part of the savegame which controls this I think! Can it be found? Or Iam thinkin wrong?

I think this is the same with the MW and MW black edition.
The exclusive cars are in the game but they are hidden somewhere(because there are some missing files in order to make the Zonda and Challenger "disappear")

Yeah, the cars are in the gamedata folder. I even found the Audi A4 en Cadillac CTS in there ...

Updated Carbon Carlist, all the cars are known now, except for the traffic cars but I don't really care about those.

Just a heads up, If you want to learning read about how people are doing it with NFS Most Wanted. It's really the same as I am told. There are many members ahead of me. There is a Wiki on the home page of this site that is going to be updated with a Tutorial on adding cars to Garage. If you also poke around enough you could find a Tutorial on NFS Most Wanted, To get your self started, Till someone makes a Checksum Fix for the save game. Everything is being done by memory right now.
