i cant to change the cooler because my cpu is "in box" if you know what does it meen. yes its only 300 mhz but as i sayd its not a limit because while working 100% for half an hour the core temperature was only 50 degree of celsius. i think i can make it 500 mhz and it'll be still stable... =) i got 2 case coolers=)
For what I can see in hyour blurry picture, you have wires all over the place. Cet some tie straps for 1,95 the hundred and have that fixed! (sugestion)
My case is kinda stock, cause it is under the desk. I have some added cooling fans to make air flow better, and I have removed the side panel to cool the processor better. The panel has no holes, so I was thinkink of making some holes more or less where the processor is, and mayme spray painting the panels black (what for?). I have an IDE cable which is not round like that one on the pic, but it is kinda packed, so it is allmost the same. Everithing is neatly tie straped to have it under controle.
I'll see if I can upload a pic later, for the wich I'll have to get under and out again of the desk, so it is not that simple.

That's right. most cases, even the chaep ones like mina have fornt and back holes for coolers. Now, some have vents in the side panel, which mine does not have, since like I sayd is cheap. Now, some time ago, I foun that the power source cables where exactly, and I mean exactly in front of the CPU cooler, which did not let the air flow into the fan. The processor could reach 63° then. I moved the cables aside, holding them with duck tape, and the temp fell to 53° or something. I think that if I make some holes in the side of the panel, I will be able to put it on, allowing the cooler to catch som fresh air.exonn wrote:koffy: everyting is allready done, as i sayd its an old pic. dont think that making holes on a side will make your air flow better. they shuld be in front and in tback panel. i think so...
I didn't nitice you where talking about overclocking. I was looking for some information about it last week, cause i want to try it with some old processor (maybe Pentium 1 100 mhz) to do a 100% overclock, if possible (taht would mean taking it to 200 mhz). Ok, but apart from that, I found a guide a guy wrote, where he said he had overclocked a Pentium 3 966 Mhz or something arround that to 1500 Mhz, which would be 50%. He had no problem with it, so I think, trying little to litle you can do it with any Athlon processor, since it is relly meant for it.

It's 256 mb , I got it for $300.00 on sale from http://www.atitech.ca/ .
They are selling them cheaper now that they are coming out with newer cards . The only problem I am having is that my nfsu game won't work with fraps running , but I'll have to fix it so I can make some movies .
