I must say I really like the 360's fall update ability to stream WMV movies directly from the pc to the console. It works perfectly, even with 720p HD WMV files. Unfortunatly it's limited to wmv only, but it's really easy and fast to transcode any other video to wmv, so it's not really a problem. I hope the PS3 will have even better pc-console media transport so Microsoft will finally wake up and make a really universal media player. And if the PS3 will really run a full linux OS, then it would easily replace the PC completely.

I like PC's but If i was gonna get a console it would have to be the Wii
Oh yeah I've played the PS3, 360 and Wii
PS3's game: NBA 07': The life demo
-Graphics are all that thier cracked up to be; great
-PS3's menu- Just like PSP, with chat and the sony online store
-Controller: Kinda transpearent black with a "PS" button with the same kinda control as the Xbox home button has on it's contoller. Motion sensor would seem to help better with racing games but it still does good in any other game.
Wii's Game: Red Steel demo
-Graphics: Kinda close to the 360
-Abilitys: weapons; You can turn the gun or sword in any direction
-Menu: Nice and Clean also versatile

Came back to vote for the 360. Also I heard the PS3 is having system problems? This gives me another reason to shoot for the 360.
Price
Problems
Lets see what else I can dig up
Sure I know the adrenaline is pumping for the release but I honestly don't want it, waste of time and effort.

PC
the games are cheaper
you can do a at least 5 times more things with a pc then any other console
The visuals are better, my friend has a PS2, but the graphical performance doesnt even come close to my computer (though i havent seen anyone playing a next gen console yet)

Who found out you can get milk from a cow, and what the hell was he doing at the moment?
PC cost more. And you have to keep upgrading it to be able to run newer games.RVD wrote:PC

I was really looking forward to the ps3 but after watching that press release, i'm not so sure.
But then there weren't many games out immediatey when the ps2 was released and it started off with Ridge Racer.
I have to say that i love the playstation generaly and have never really gamed on the pc, exept for the likes of Civ and AoE, but thats largely because my graphics aren't that great. The main reason why i wont buy a xb360 is having to pay to go on live. IMO that sucks.
So after rambling like this, i'll probably buy the ps3.
