I know a guy who thinks FWD is Better than RWD because:

"Horses are powered by their front legs"

That may be the reason a horse has never won the Le Mans 24 hour. It could also be b/c horses are notoriously g*y.

Besides, 1 horepower isn't equal to 1 horse. It's a measurement of work done in a certain amount of time.

Yes, horsepower has always existed, but the term was invented to measure it. Look it up, and you'll see how it came about.

You said it yourself. Horsepower is an arbitrary measurement of energy (or work) over time. It is not the phenomenon itself. Horsepower was invented. Energy was not.
