I'll get you vista if you can get me xp lol.
I got it back when the Customer Preview Program was still running. Right now Microsoft has a contest running that you can win Vista RC1 DVD and some other crappy cool stuff. You can shoot for that, or yourt other only option is to find a 3rd party web-site where you can download the iso and burn it to a dvd.
There are two more not as cheep options too. You can buy an RC1 DVD off a site like eBay, or wait 2 weeks fo rthe full version to come out. If you want the full version shoot for amazon because they already have tham on preorder. (Word of advice, if you want some of the cooler features of Vista, shoot for Windows Home Premium or Higher. Bussiness will be simply that, Bussiness, and Home Basic will most likely suck... in fact, I don't even know if Home Basic will have transperency.)
I myself am saving up to get Vista Ultimate next Christmas.

Or... You could get the Vista Transformation Pack and patch your system to look and act (in some ways) like Vista and get the WindowBlinds skin at the same time.

Woo, I gots me a another hard drive. It's only a 10GB Seagate, but I'm just going to put Windows XP on it. And I got my case today; transfered all my stuff and gave my old case to my dad. I gave him my old motherboard and processor when I upgraded, but they wouldn't fit in the case he had. So I spent most of the day working on computers. Now I just need to find my old video card to put in my dad's comp.xHaZxMaTx wrote:My cousin who got the 8800GTX is giving me his old 6800GT, and I'm getting a Cooler Master Elite case on Friday. So yayz0rz.Now I just need a secondary hard drive.
-EDIT-
Well, that didn't work. Got the new HD all hooked up, got Windows and drivers installed, and was in the process of transfering some stuff when I heard a 'pop' and my computer froze. I didn't really think anything of it and though it was just still loading, so I left it for a while to do it's own business. I came back about 15 minutes later and it hadn't done anything since. So I restarted, opened up BIOS, went to boot devices, and only my 160 GB HD was listed.
