I just witnessed the highest bid record on Barrett Jackson being broken. A twin supercharged Shelby Cobra (Automatic
) was sold for $5,000,000.

I'd laugh if some crazy/angry/losing bidder ran on the bid stage and keyed the car after the bidding ended.

No doubt it would've gone for $4,999,998 if it was manual..

@ GT
bogan, the guy that bought the Cobra also bought a handful of other cars at the auction. I believe his name was Ron Pratt.

Yay, not too long now until I finally get to live in the Gold Coast (official moving there date is the 2nd of February).
So next week it's going to be tough living without the internet for a while.
Let us pray for my insanity to remain unchanged, and for a lesser form of withdrawals, incomparable to the withdrawal of not being able to play Gears of War.... well not until a little while anyhow, one of the first things on my 'list of stuff to buy for the room' .

You know......the toilet is closer to you than any one of us.
EDIT: Found something else from Apple that will soon become just as overrated as the iPod.

Sure it's cool, but why spend so much when you already have a phone, an mp3 player with music and photo's on it, and a laptop with web access?
