hex editing for gamecube and PS2

ok, since i have Most Wanted for gamecube, and Carbon and Underground 2 for PS2, is it possible to hex edit the games?

Not for gamcube. If you can't read it in a cd drive or even burn gamecube games (Because the real games are burned in reverse; don't ask me but thats the truth) then it cant be hexed...Now the PS2...I don't think that it's been done but I think theres a possibility because the ISO of the PS2 game can be read in a (I think DVD-ROM) drive or normal one

I've read PS2 games on my grandmas DVD drive. I never tried mine yet...

Yeah you can read PS2 games the main thing is, If you can burn it you can read it

Whether or not these versions can be edited has nothing to do with whether the game disc is readable in a PC drive, since the editing needs to be done on the SAVEGAME, not the game program files. Get the savegame file to a PC, and potentially the save can be edited. However, there's precious little info around on how to do that, or whether the save formats are identical or different in a small or large way to the PC savegame format.

He means that there are PS2 saves on the internet that you edit it and transfer it to the PS2 memory card via card reader




I was thinking and I guess if you wanted to edit it for the gamecube, you'd need a GC card to PC reader and take it from there
