IMO, i think TEST DRIVE UNLIMITED is one of the best racing games ive ever played.. huge free roam, carbon's free roam is nothing compared to TDU. I love that u can goto dealerships. buy cars, rent cars, buy houses. performance upgrades.. downloadable cars, online is pretty chill, INTERIOR!!!!, I love driving in the cockpit view.. you see the steering wheel, its just like you would drive it in real life. OH and seriously, if you guys dont have a steering wheel for the xbox 360 or pc, then you guys are missing out big time.
TDU = #1
TDU = #1

i bet if rockstar makes a Midnight club 3 dub edition for pc, no one will ever remember NFS and TDU. it has the deepest customization ever! (you can change any parts of your car, including rim size, tire width, car height) and with a handful of cars, bikes(including tuner, exotic, sedan, SUV, truck, sports bike and chopper), it will blow your mind!
at least i still can play it on my psp...

I think the reason that everyone liked UG1 alot is because it was the first tuner NFS that was made, an dyou can never beat an origional. I have to admit, even though U2 will always be my fav, UG1 will always be the orgional... and therefore well liked.
EDIT: If Rockstar had MC3 for PC, for get EA! But they don't so GO EA! wait a minute

Look guys what I've received from ATARI (TDU DEVELOPERS)
"Greeting TDU Beta Testers,
This email is to inform you of a bug in the Test Drive Unlimited uninstaller
from the Open Beta Test. If you plan on uninstalling Test Drive Unlimited,
please be sure to back-up (or move) any "loose" personal files you may have
stored in the c:\ root directory on your computer.
There is an issue where the uninstaller may attempt to remove files in the c:\
root directory that are NOT in a folder or are NOT protected by windows.
- Files that are in folders on c:\ are NOT affected by this bug.
- Files that are protected by your windows operating system are also not
affected.
Please be sure to take extra special care when uninstalling TDU.
If you have any questions at all regarding this issue, or would like more
instructions on how to back-up your files, please email betatestadmin@atari.com
This bug is of course fixed in the retail version of TDU.
I'd also like to remind everyone that the Open Beta Test for Test Drive
Unlimited has ended as of today. Thanks again for all your help in the beta
test for Test Drive Unlimited and we look forward to seeing you on the road in
the future!.."
OMG, you see how they CARE OF ANY BUGS EVEN IN THE BETA TEST??????
Damn, I love them, just taking care of the guys who could test the game, omg what a lesson!!!!
EA, KILLING EVERYTHING, AND LEARN WITHOUT $ !!!

Yup - I've already fallen victim to that uninstall bug - it wiped out my NTLDR, Boot.ini & hal.dll - I gave up after 20 minutes trying to fix it and have gone for the reinstall option - my god, this PC is back to how it was when it was new - it's amazing what a degrading effect 3 years of use without a reinstall has on your system performance!
Thank you, Atari, for making me reinstall - should have done it ages ago

Same here. I only play MW now just for the cop chases.. I'm waiting for TDU to come out. I couldn't stop playing the beta.bam_bam wrote:Lol EA have turned so bad even Atari are pwning them ! EA are just copy and pasting and sticking a new cover on the box . When TDU comes out I doubt I'll bother with NFS unless they come up with something new .
