I totally agree with everything that you guys have mentioned. Personally, i have only tried carbon, as my PC doesn't have the right graphics card. I've only played Carbon twice, and i can tell you that for the next NFS game there should be no crew members, more cars, less bugs, longer career and bring back the cop chases from Most Wanted!!

i know it's sad, but then a good GC is like 100 + dollars, and unfortunately i don't want to spend that much. At least, if i were to, i wouldn't just get a graphics card. I'm getting a new computer soon (i play carbon on my parent's computer) and i might get everything then.
Anyways, keeping on topic, i think there should be something like most wanted in the next NFS, but with more cars and upgrading options.

SLJ, I basically think everything you have, plus having a bigger area to race in...multiple cities and towns with connecting roads. That and variable weather, night/day cycle, and secrets.
As for the cops, maybe...at Heat 1, they may do rolling roadblocks, or the occasional "parked car" roadblock. At heat 3, they start doing regular parked car roadblocks. Heat 4, you get spiked traps, and parked Rhinos. And at the highest heat, they even do roadblocks with temporary wall sections. And bring back the helicopters, please! If you have multiple towns/cities, at the lower 2 heat levels, local forces will be "leashed" to their area, and if you leave, they can only "radio ahead...." but at higher levels they get authority to leave their area.
And different kinds of road.....pavements of some types, gravel, dirt (becomes mud when there's rain)....and some pavement that lacks proper drainage will become slippery when wet, or if there's an oil spill....you'll be "involuntarily drifting."

That really would be the perfect NFS game. Pluss more cars, more camera views etc. I'd love shortcuts that go through dirt/mud/snow. More weather etc.Raakone wrote: And different kinds of road.....pavements of some types, gravel, dirt (becomes mud when there's rain)....and some pavement that lacks proper drainage will become slippery when wet, or if there's an oil spill....you'll be "involuntarily drifting."

I know $100 won't buy much, but it'll get you one good enough to play most games.korge wrote:Whoever said $100 is good graphics card is ehh...
Anyways, i forgot to add my favourite thing. I haven't tried the drifting in carbon, but in the 2,3 times i played and tried to use the handbrake to drift nothing really happend. But then again, i was racing a stock car at the auto show in Toronto for a contest.... so i'm not sure

I hate to say this, having been a nfs fan ever since I started playing racing games 10 years ago (i'm old
), I played each and every NFS game with passion, after a long wait, NFS Most Wanted got me excited again about NFS, but Carbon really disappointed me to the point that I don't want to look at it again! Saw a post the other day on this forum that there's another game called test drive unlimited, bought the game, OH MY SWEET MAMA!
this game totally beats carbon! huge free roam, no annoying barriers preventing you from going off road, cool concept, cool cars (no porsche and bmw though), fantastic graphics, free roam photo mode etc etc, the only thing I'm not happy about test drive unlimited is car sound tracks, sounds like amature games, but if you tune down the engine volume everything else is perfect! The handling in test drive feels different from Carbon, I don't know which one has the better physics, but nfs is never a simulator anyways.
test drive seems to be a game designed to promote a certain life style, you can buy properties, character clothes, cars (both modern and classic), more of a middle class golden boys/girls game as opposed to nfs' stupid working class tuning shiznit. Cruising along the hugely realistic terran with your sun glasses on (yes, your character can wear sun glasses) and watching recorded replay or look at your car from any angle possible while free roaming beats all!
Sound like I am test drive's salesman, NO! I am not! I'm gonna get a GEFORCE 8800GTX for this game, and I'm sure I won't look at NFS again for a long time...unless....ea start thinking with their head instead of the lower part again! PERFECT NFS game? NFS (physics, sound, dyno)+test drive unlimited (everything else). But, first thing first, get rid of whoever came out with the idea of Carbon, this guy is even worse than that american who designed the current generation bmw, terrible! Bring back daylight, free roam with no boundary, improve your graphics [ test drive under HD mode is near photo realistic (that's why I'm paying more than £400 for a graphics card instead of the lame ps3), plus Battlefield2 is also an EA game and the graphics is phantastic! so ea has no execuse for producing something as disgusting as carbon], add more european cars, or at least for the european edition.

yeah! more car, more car! one day you will ask ea to let you fly a chopper in the game.
EA, Designers are not thinkin'like they designed MostWanted and the newest one Carbon can't beat that game... I don't know who's the real idea person but they don't have more things to put in the game like, Some user weren't playing NFS from a long time you can say I weren't playing too but NFSU give us a bang at the head, Then after that NFSU2 disappoint EA or us atleast me. After that NFS MW Kick it up again, Now Carbon Phew... Most Wanted is all about the Cop. NFSU was all about the Mode NFSU2 was all about the tuning... What is Carbon speciality! Sorry I am not pointing the finger, let me know.

EA sports have there cars on line for users to purchase them but can't take these rides online to play them! EA should make a lobby for these cars that the owners of downloadables cars can play in those session and anyother who don't have these car can't join the session... That's how people can see eachother's cars and who can't see can't join... ofcourse a blind sighted driver can be dangerous! you know that

Wow... dude, Now you said the real thing.. there should be any multiplayer police chase what ever online or offline... online would be a dream come true.Black Fire wrote:Body kits that look good, lots of cars and two - player police chaces. Not just single player. In other words, I would like a NFS:HP 2 with customization.
Man I desapointed after ending of the game of NFS-MW there is no free roaming.
There should be a free roaming and a cycling camera effect like GTA for taking pictures.
