Couldn't find any prices, but I know Jag E Type is around £90,000+. Assumed Countach would be about the same? Hence why it's still a dream (and guess it always will be until I win on the Premium Bonds or National Lottery - just more realistic than a McLaren SLR at £360,000!!)
EDIT: Found a couple of Countachs for sale - most expensive was a 1989 Anniversary edition sold for $79,000 US (about £40,000) - cheaper than I thought. That's the price of a new BMW M3 in this country - not so out of reach really (just need to save my pennies for a few decades
. Or rob the country's pension fund - oh no, can't do that, Gordon Brown got there first. "Ooooh little bit of politics there!" - Ben Elton. circa 1980's )

Well that would mean that my "Realistic Dream" could be a Porsche 997/998 Carrera, or even a GT3. At only $100,000 CDN for a Carrera, I'd say it would be plausible after many years of hard labour.
And I do realize that there is no 998 yet, but once I have enough money there will be. Maybe even a 999.
