A 2mpx camera, better fonts on the screen. MUCH BETTER. I compared my mom's razr to mine, and the font on the razr was fugly.

Ah crap I edited the wrong post.

I got an SD card, formated it in the phone, put music on it, put it in, now pictures folder and sound folder won't open.

Yes I converted the files to what they are supposed to use and put the card in correctly.

reformat it and if you can insert it into your computer and drag and drop the files onto the card and make sure they are the right format

I got some to work after a few tricks (had to delete everything WMP11 put on and copy files into the moto/shared/audio folder... but only a few came up now I'm trying a different tactic and will post back in a min.

I think it's because I download high rate audio and it only plays 196bit-rates or below...

Nope, still only getting some...

firetruck, Alltel sucks ass! They locked out all bit-rates above 128... I guess I'll try again!

I still don't get what's so important about phones and why everybody constantly wants a new one.

I have a Nokia 6310i that I use as personal phone, I have it for over 2 years now, and for work I use a Nokia N73, and I didn't buy it because it has more functions then a average person can remember. but I only got it because it has great incar options (carkit communications with the car (satnav and mp3 playback)
I did not at all care about how many ringtones or the amount of megapixel on the camera, I know that my 6310i has 1.3 and the N73 has more, something like 2 orso, but don't care about it. Ok it makes pretty decent photo's if you look at the lens size and that's about it.
It's still rubbish compared to a decent digital camera.
Cause in general the only thing that changes on the cameraphones is the amount of pixels, but the quality is still minimal cause you are working with a miniature lens. so you end up having large blurry pictures

Wow, hacking the RAZR is so easy! I just changed the external LCD from that fugly Alltel logo to a custom picture I made for it, and also added some custom backgrounds made by me and also some ringtones (hacked into the actual ringtone folder) chopped by me also.

And I still can't get all the music working...

What is wrong with that pictue?

EDIT: I figured it out, I'll do it the same way I hacked the rest of it... it just can't locate the songs (I'm Guessing)... so why not put them directly into the directory instead of just on the flash drive. well, that was a waste of $10 for a card reader.

It will take a while but should work! Will post back tomarrow.

on just about every phone today you can customize the backgrounds of both screens. im betting you can even make your background a picture you took with the camera

what's so special about using your own picture as background? both my phones can do that. (and both have a own made picture I made with the phone) so what's so special about that?

BTW what is so special about Motorola phones that it's so popular in the US specially RZRRRXRCRVRVRVRVR or what ever they are called.
I had 1 Motorola and I returned it within a day cause it sucked big time, it a unpractical and useless heap.
Here you hardly see anyone use a Motorola.

I don't really know what is with people and the RAZR, I'm guessing that it is similar to why everybody gets an iPod. There is a lot of marketing for them, everyone gets one, and it is seen as a fashion statement. Personally, I hate having the same damn thing everybody else has. Anyways, carcrazy, I hardly see that as "hacking." Hacking would be making it so when you use your phone, it won't show the calls on the phone bill. Or coding and programming a program and putting it on your phone so it runs like the iPhone or maybe like a computer OS.

And no, you cannot change the picture on the outside of the phone not even it is unlocked or straight from Motorola. Now seem editing would be different...

My RAZR actually gets better service than any other phones I've seen, I normally have 5 bars and and EV signal when my friends/families (also alltel - mainly) get 3 bars and Digital service, even when they are right beside each other on the same network.

Well said.. Most people don't no jack about lens quality, sensor size.. Whatever. The N73 has 3.2 megapixels, btw.

Well, for about the past 2 or 3 weeks I've been working on a skin for my RAZR. This would be easy except Alltel's things are weird and I'm still working it out. I've got my equivelent of an RC2 done right now, and when I get time I might finish it. It's looking pretty nice though!

it's a very nice phone, but maybe too delicate, becames dirty quite easily, and seems that the surface can be scratched if you are not very careful (I won't try its resistance, obviuosly hehe)
