Just want to talk? Come here.
My arm... doesn't really hurt, but it feels hollow.
I was giving blood yesterday for the first time and after filling out come paper work and being lectured about diseases that may be given or received via transfusion, etc., it was finally time to draw blood. What I didn't know was how big the needle was, which is about half the width of a normal drinking straw. But before sticking me, they had to find a suitable vein, which took nearly 5 minutes; apparently drinking lots of water the days before having blood drawn will produce more readily available veins (I didn't know that, either). The most suitable vein still wasn't a great one, so after sticking me, they had to poke around for the vein. In the process, they hit a vein. If I were to type out what I was thinking at the time, the swear filters would come up with an (undoubtedly) humourous result containing copious amounts of 'booboo's and 'firetruck's, so I'll just say it hurt... a lot; like a bolt of fire running down my arm.
Other than that, everything was honkey-dory - they said the nerve should heal within the week. It doesn't hurt now, but I can tell where the vein runs by feeling along my arm. The skin is unusually sensitive, but nearly numb underneath.

@ ibi yes she drained about 4 pints into the thing or really close like a 1/8 th of an inch from the 4 pint mark. i was so drowsy it was like i was really drunk
but yea i will never give blood again not after that usually they take like a pint she did that 4 times over so i guess i gave blood 4 times in one sitting

Whee!! I'm typing this in my living room right now, with my computer hooked up to my mom's brand new 46" LCD HDTV!
The highest resolution is only 1360x768, but it still looks damn nice.

My kickass 17" Samtron 75E

It's 6+ years old. Was one of the cheapest 17" at the time. Works like a charm
.
Edit: You can't really see it in the pic, but the so called neck of the monitor is pretty huge compared to newer CRT's
. My friend has a couple of years newer CRT and the neck is half of my monitor's neck.

BTW Halo 2 Vista came out. yays. Won't be able to get it anytime soon tho. I owe my parents $200 for my cell phone. >-<
But then I get my money back right when the time of black friday comes. So I might get lots of goodies. =D

I still have my 3 year old 17'' Compaq FS7600 CRT that came with my computer back when it was first purchased, and was a SR1303WM Compaq Presario. Now it's a "Silver Bullet", which I nicknamed it for it's (What used to be) blazing speed and amazing custom silver/black paint job.

Im working on alittle project very simple... Here is what im going to do later on this year.
My Stereo what is a Panasonic ive recently opened the speakers and found out they have used Car speakers it has all the connectors and all on the speaker so im going to buy 500W car speakers off Ebay and replace them and also im also going to add a 2400W Amp, this is going to be a couple of months seeing as though ive just spend alot on preorders. My older brother who is 27 gave me the idea since he has done it to his stereo too
