Go on with another Samsung if you liked your current Samsung phone. I'd go for the 3.5G phone if I were you. Not sure of the model though, not a Samsung user. But it's been constantly advertised here. :-P

I like Samsungs alot. The RAZR is a cool looking phone but it's really hard to convert from a Samsung layout to a RAZR.

My phone provider has a cool commercial on their website.

http://www.cingular.com/home/

An advantage of me being with Cingular is you get a new phone for free every two years. So next November, I believe, I'll be getting something like a Nokia N75.

Unless something better comes out in a year or so.

From what I know, the iPhone is coming out this June, and is offered only by Cingular. I don't know if they will give it to you for free because there may be a certain plan specific for the iPhone (So Cingular can dig deeper into your pockets) so I'm not sure if you'll be able to upgrade to it.

I'm on Rogers Wireless, which is basically the Canadian version of Cingular. I think it's owned by Cingular, but for me, I have to pay full "Pay As You Go" price for a phone upgrade. The only advantage is I get to keep my number.

Well I believe it has quite a powerful camera (At least 2.0 Megapixels) and I know that there will be an 8GB and 4GB version, making the iPod obsolete if you have the iPhone.

Why would you want to pay so much for a phone. Getting an iPod and a phone would be so much cheaper. 240+100 (at the most) = 340. Iphone costs like $600...

OOH TOUCHSCREEN. Thats been around for 10 years already...

Considering the iPhone is another crappy Apple product like Apple TV ( http://www.apple.com/appletv/ pfft why pay over and over for something when you can buy it from a store and have it for LIFE?) I'll probably pass it by for a product of MUCH higher quality. I try to stray away from things that are touchscreen because you don't really know how long the touch screen will hold up before it goes out and you have to trash it and spend another $500.

Well I'll have to learn about the touch-screen the hard way. I bought a Samsung K5 mp3 player to replace my iPod Nano and I've had it for 5 months but it's still in great condition with the exception of a few minor scratches. Not to mention battery life is still an amazing 5 hours or so on speakers due to the OLED display.

By the way, does anyone know whether the Samsung X830 (T-Shine's spin phone he posted earlier) uses SIM cards?

I'd get that, the Meizu M8. It's the Chinese iPhone ''ripoff'' but hell, it's probably better than the iPhone.

Used to own that phone. I sold it off already for the N80. You could have gotten a better phone than that one. Its market value is dropping real fast.

LOL! You shouldn't have gotten that in the first place. The Nokia 6230i would have been better. It has all the same features the 3230 has. Except that it's smaller, sleeker, and it has 32MB of internal phone memory. :)

Image

But then again, I prefer performance, that's why I got the 3230 instead, 'cuz its Symbian platform. :)

I have a 7610 & 6610, & I don't want to sell them after I bought a N73,
Their price in the market are very low...

Better you keep it if Nokia 3230's value same with junk..
