Wow, maybe you should get a more suitable plan. My plan costs a mere $20 CAD a month, and since it's Pay As You Go, the balance gets carried over to next month, which is why I have $34.03 in my phone account right now.

$7 a month for 30 mins isn't that great of a deal. I can get $10 a month for 30 mins as well, but I don't think you can chat much unless you are in an emergency, so a phone like the Nokia 5300 might not be the best choice for you.

How can you only use 30 minutes a month??? I spend that much on the mobile internet alone. Anyway, now I owe alltel 90 and my mom 150...
I couldn't stop her from paying it.

You can always change if you aren't on a contract (Like me for example, who uses Pay As You Go).
Do a little more research next time

I lucked out with Cingular. They are the best, plus I have a Cingular tower right near my house so I always have full bars.

They gotten better about that. It depends where you live. If you still live in my mothers bedroom you are never going to get a signal over 2 bars.

Didn't you just say that your house is right by the tower, meaning that your mother's bedroom would be an excellent place to get a signal?

I tried that phone before for a week. Let's just say it sucked? Haha! Camera wise is worse than some 1.3MP phone cameras around. The phone freezes quite easily f you're not familiar with Symbian phones, and has no infra-red. My opinion, stick with the SE W810i.

I switched from Cingular/AT&T to Verizon, and for some reason, I was never able to send text messages with Cingular/AT&T.
