also on low gfx it don't render far enough ahead. resulting in a transparancy issue.

well you should have looked at the minimum requirements and realized that your comp may not be up to par. this screen shot looks pretty good definitely better than anything MW could produce

I hate buying new cards, I think its all a money making scam. game programmers could get good gfx working on bad cards if the wanted too, just look at the xbox and xbox 360!

not really a bad card is a bad card they are only so fast, it looks like your card cant keep up with the amount of pixels that have to be rendered

NVM, I never get how xbox manages to play good gfx with a card worse than mine and only 126mb RAM tho LOL.

If you could put the XBox and the XBox 360's processors and graphics cards into a PC, you would have one amazing PC. You would also have a PC that would be utterly useless since the design of the processor and graphics cards are completely different. That's why they're capable of producing such stunning graphics.

About your transparency ludford, I didn't see that problem at all when my game was on lowest settings.

You must be blind. First of all, you can't compare a game like TDU with NFS in terms of graphics because TDU's requirements are extremely high and I'm surprised your computer even ran it. Second, why don't you try pressing "Escape" and then going to "Options" because you can change resolution, level of detail, refresh rate, and a variety of other things to make the game run a lot smoother.

I got this game just yesterday, and i cant understand where im going!!

Im playing this game at max gpx at 1280x1024 and antialiasing 2x, and i get a decent 45-55 fps.
And the gpx are much prettier than carbon, anyday.

Also how do u access the map while driving, and how do i increase the stakes when i race with the AI in free roam

Overall, along with the no. of cars, this looks like its going to be a sweet game.

The game is pretty much a direct port from the 360. The PC version could have been done a lot better. I have never had that problem with the transparent roads, and I have an Athlon XP 2000+ with a 9600XT. xD

I get about 10 - 15FPS, on max quality I get about 5FPS. I played the game for about a day or two, then I couldn't get passed the stuttering so I quit.

@ t3ice, to access the map press M that should bring you to the map. to increse the stakes hit escape and go to options and then gameplay and there should be something about stakes, the maximum a stake can be is 10,000 $, good luck

No, but you get to see cut scenes of your character walking into the car dealerships and doing missions.

And you can customize the facial features of your character quite realistically, and dress him in clothing bought form various stores. Plus, your character can join clubs (But I haven't joined any yet so I'm not sure how it works there).

I thought manual transmission was only in hardcore mode, which you have to get the Champion ranking to unlock.

I just found out that the M key on my keyboard was busted,...so i got a new keyboard yesterday and got down to some playing.

I have completed about 11%. I GOT BUSTED BY THE DAMN COPS AND HAD TO PAY A FINE OF 40,000$!! ...FIRETRUCKERSS!!
