Same here!! Sometimes i dont even end the call, and the wrong callers will be like" hello..hello...anyone...hello " and keep going on and on for minutes until they realize that theyre calling a wrong no..Andre_online wrote:LOL! For me I don't care if people who called me by mistake. As long as I don't pay for the incoming calls that I get from them, I'm happy.

It's a good thing I deactivated my voicemail. Activation is free, but then when you receive a voice message, one message can cost me about $S0.22. May not sound expensive, but seeing how little people in Singapore use voicemail, when they're usually prompted to leave a message, all you'll get is a sound of the person hanging up the phone. Just like that I'm charged.TheStig wrote:I recently get phonecalls from people asking for Johnny.. but they never reach the phone but always my voicemail...and never get a missed call on my phone.. getting pretty sick of having to call my voicemail and then realise that it's a other BS call.
LAME...

Well that attachment doesn't really prove anything. It's just a professional photograph of the iPhone that can be easily googled.
I won't doubt you yet, but attaching an image of you holding the phone would be nice (Would be even nicer if you took a photo of your phone with the iPhone's camera using a mirror).

4 me phones are just getting more complicated, more stuff is chucked in em which means more problems. My phone is a Motorola L6, all i can do is msg, call, take the odd photo and use the net. Its working fine even after a couple mates jumped on when it feel out of my pocket when i was drunk...
My mate has a Nokia N73 and he went through 5 of those phones until he has one that works (for now).
Sure the phones they have now are great but they aren't really phones anymore now are they? I mean its more along the lines of a computer that can make phone calls.
Anyway just my opinion.

The iPhone is definitely not crap. Considering that this is Apple's first ever cellphone, it does things a lot better than most of the crappy Motorola. The fact is that most of the cellphones today have a crappy OS which just looks horrible.
The iPhone has the nice OSX which just works flawlessly and easily. The transitions, the attention to small details all make the iPhone an amazing piece of technology. Sure, it may have its faults but its faults are much less than most of the phones out there.
And just like the iPod, Apple will continually improve on the iPhone making it better and better each time. At one point (maybe 3 or 4 years from now), Apple would have made the perfect phone which is easy to use and it's just fun.

Amazing piece of technology? It looks like an amazing piece of technology, it actually isn't. The eyecandy has been available all along, Nokia could've given the N95 an much prettier look with a touchscreen, but they didn't do that as they focused the N95 on the business market. This shows what Apple is after: Give it a good design, hype it and pretend like it's a revolutionary phone. If people like the design, they're going to like the overall phone.2furio wrote:The iPhone has the nice OSX which just works flawlessly and easily. The near perfect phone could've been here already, but Apple decided that their phone was good enough to sell (rather good looking enough to sell), so why improve it? It carries the outdated EDGE and you're binded to an expensive contract with AT&T. If not, they wouldn't be able to offer things like the YouTube function. That's one of the reasons that the iPhone supposedly is special: It doesn't have open software. It's Apple only, which will give you a ''fantastic one of a kind'' YouTube button. If it was an unlocked phone, it probably wouldn't even be there.
Yay, there's an 3G version of the iPhone coming to Europe. Clearly they do listen ''a little'' after the European market complained about it, as they actually look beyond the point where Americans stop, the design and hype-o-meter.

I never compared the iPhone to the Motorola, i just said phones are getting more complicated until they'll have everything but the kitchen sink. Ok in 3 to 4 years Apple might improve the iPhone but other companies will also be improving their cellphone range too so who knows what the future will bring.2furio wrote:The iPhone is definitely not crap. So ur sayin Apple will be leading the way whereas the other companies will be left to draw in the dirt? I don't wanna start a pointless argument, but there are other phone companies then just motorola and i think they are using up left over stock until they release new products. I believe Motorola is more concerned about other products and services they offer.

The only advantage is the 3G capability which only comes on the RAZR2 V9. But even so, the RAZR2 will be excessively overpriced (like how the RAZR was around $400 with no plan when it came out) and by the time the price is affordable, 3G will be on most new phones. For the camera users, the 2 MP is almost going back in time, as most new Samsung and Nokia phones come equipped with at least 3 MP cameras.
I just did a quick comparison of the E900 which I will soon be purchasing for around $230 with the RAZR2 V9 and the only things that the RAZR has that the E900 doesn't are 3G, Opera HTML browsing, and Class 12 EDGE. The E900 beats the RAZR2 at dimensions, weight, phonebook, and memory plus the E900 has a document viewer, flight mode, TV output and a better battery life.
Nuff' said, save yourself $200 - $300 and get a 1 year old phone.

Amen to that. I can safely say that no other softwares out there can beat Apple in softwares and user-friendliness. NOT EVEN computers.2furio wrote:The iPhone is definitely not crap. Apple = Simplicity.
I believe one day Apple will even dominate the PC industries. If iPod was successful, I do believe iPhone will be too, in time to come. Just wait.. Reason being why the price is so high now is because the demand is low. In time to come, demand will be higher and price will decrease.
iPhone hopefully will be my next phone next year when it ships to Asia.
