Indeed...I don't understand why those bloody British and Americans can't switch to the simple and logical system. Their system is so complicated.TheStig wrote:But Celcius is the most logical, but then the Metric system in general is more logical

Re: High temperature
Nothing, as far as I know, it would just be that much easier if their was a universal temperature system. And since there's only a handful of countries in the world using Fahrenheit, it would be much easier to switch to Celsius.

Re: High temperature
It's more complex because it's not logical. Cesius is based on the freezing and boiling point of water, which is universally agreeable, whilst Fahrenheit is based on the coldest temperature that Mr. F could find in his hometown, and his own body temperature (or something).Jopuma wrote:What's so complex about Fahrenheit?
Imperial length measurements are equally illogical. One foot used to be just the length of your foot, even though everybody has different sized feet. Then some clever person decided to divide that into 12 and make inches. WHY 12??? wtf.
And on it goes . .
In relation to the topic, it's been fuggin cold here lately. And wet. Drought my bumbum.
I can't wait for summer again

Over here the weather is horrible.
It doesn't feel like summer at all, it rains ALOT, it in general is just a horrible summer.
Re: High temperature
It's better than here, it's too hot here and there is too much aridity so it's bad. You are lucky actually.TheStig wrote:AMEN

Re: High temperature
It's supposed to get not much lower than 70* Fehrenheit this winter.
Re: High temperature
The rains followed me home from Arizona.
Re: High temperature
Dadgum HaZ have some people send that over here! Colorado desperately needs rain. Colorado is more of a desert now than it was in the 90's.
Re: High temperature
Heh, all I remember of Denver when I lived there was snow.
Re: High temperature
lol that's true as well.
But Colorado has insatiably dry snow so it doesn't really do anything other than make things a little most and very cold.

My mom wants us to move to Virginia, mainly because it's only 70 degrees and that's the coldest it gets up there.

Re: High temperature
No kidding, its so hot here ( similar weather to Skyline man ) you start sweating as soon as you leave your apartment. Sometimes, i just go out with a vest on.taz947 wrote:Here in Romania,we had Red Code, amean the temperature went up over 42 degrees. Now,in my town is 38 degrees Celsius.I want to the market to buy something for my grandma and I came back home, sweating horribly.

Re: High temperature
humidity sucks, yesterday it was only 94 degrees but when combined with the humidity it was 115
Re: High temperature
Although heat is bad enough, its the humidity that really firetrucks things up.
I dont get how the weather can be so humid when theres so much sun. Shouldn't it be dry?

Re: High temperature
You should be glad that you live in a place where the humidity is pretty low (even though for your standards it's already high.)
humidity has nothing to do with the temperature, atleast not directly. In the rainforests the temperature is high, but the humitity is also say 90-100% (100% being rain)

Re: High temperature
Wow
I think it got up to 110 degrees today, but only around about 4 to 6... so it was before it started to cool off. I may be mistaken and it only gotten to 100, i didn't really check, I just remember reading that it was supposed to be 110.
