A slight problem with getting save game to ps2.

I have managed to save the savegame to "my desktop" then I burt the save game data to a blank disk using nerosmart. But the problem I am having now is that I can't seem to get the data from the blank disc, and copy it to my Need for speed Most Wanted black edition saved data so I can then have the save game in my black edtion.

Now I know that was alot to take in so I am more than happy to awnser any questions you may have. And also a quick question, can the game crash if I don't do this correctly?
