More from Summ's productions. This is meant to be a jedi, probably sweating in a conflict with a sith, talking to the sith, and trying to get him to turn from the path of the dark side. Romantic eh? Just as Star Wars is. I always loved Darth Maul's staff, my favourite weapon in Jedi Academy as well. My only regret is that I didn't really figure the right pose for his left arm holding the double bladed lightsaber itself. Comments and constructive critics are a must on this one :P. Else this is a WIP (Work In Progress) This is only a sketch, though I think i will keep the style of many lines and blurry features, gives the possibility for the viewer to create the face and identity he prefers the most for himself. How do YOU see him? What would YOUR ideas be on this character's history and future?

nice stuff Summ, I like the socond pic, it's much better and got the proportions more belieavable (hand is very realistic). Good job.

I used to make some 3D models for a mod for some PC game, but it was like 3 years ago. haven't touched it since :P Worse, lost all the files with previews and renders, but only few survived. Again, it was a while back. :) So here is one of the better renders that survived, only of a 3D model of a castle..

Thanks for the comments Rixan and UrQ. I am pretty satisfied with the second, and I think I'll keep working on it to improve it to the end. Let's wait and see what they say to it over at CG chat.
Nice work with the castle UrQ, I guess, as I simply never used computer and 3d to make such things. I immagine it's quite hard. I prefer using my own hands, am way more in control. Personal opinion ;).

hehe, Summ, you can't really compare 3D and normal drawing by hand. Differnt things. I am pretty good by hand too btw, but only used to draw when was smaller, but my stuff was all good (good enough to sell 2 drawings! :)) It was mainly maritime theme - like old frigates and so on. Used pencil only. (that's why I like those pencil drawings you posted).

If you find it, make sure to show me m8 =) I'd be interested for sure. Pencil drawing is the real way of drawing imo :P. Old school. Over at CGchat.com they make lots of good stuff, but nothing traditional, like my themes. Mostly gory, or new style stuff, so i actually wind up feeling like a fish out of water. Feels like my ideals are passé today.
There's more to come of those I just posted anyway UrQ ;) be sure of that :P.
