What Phone Do You Have?
Re: What Phone Do You Have?
I made some research on YouTube, and those peeps were saying that the Nokia N95 is better than the iPhone.I think that's true.It has 5 MP Camera,MMS,Custom Ringtones.
Did you know that the iPhone doesn't support Custom Ringtones??Shame to Apple.
The only good feature is the touchscreen.
Btw,what do you think?

Re: What Phone Do You Have?
The N95 has loads more functions, so it's obvious. But it doesn't have that ''cool-factor''.

Re: What Phone Do You Have?
The N95 is like the ultimate nerd phone (no offense to anyone who has it) because of all its features so most people think the iPhone is 'better'. I got to use an iPhone at the Apple store in Manhattan a few days ago and it has some neat features when it isn't compared to anything else. But when you look at the fact that it's not even 3G and has a meager 2 MP camera, it's not all what it's been hyped up to be. And the accelerometer is an extremely useless feature because it takes around 2 seconds to realize what is up and it would be much more economical to just have a landscape/portrait button.

Re: What Phone Do You Have?
Yep..N95 still has that extremely classy but oh so boxy shape...which is kinda uninspiring..IMHO, but the iphone looks sleek and the glassy black coluor suits it well.PSZeTa wrote:The N95 has loads more functions, so it's obvious. But it doesn't have that ''cool-factor''.
Re: What Phone Do You Have?
If the Iphone doesn't even have 3G then it most likely doesn't stand a chance here in europe, cause data transfer, internet and such is used alot here, and if it can't do that it almost instantly lost.

It's usually the case.t3ice wrote:Yep..N95 still has that extremely classy but oh so boxy shape...which is kinda uninspiring..IMHO, but the iphone looks sleek and the glassy black coluor suits it well.PSZeTa wrote:The N95 has loads more functions, so it's obvious. Design VS Functionality + Performance
It's a rare case to have both in a same phone. I stand corrected, as always.

@ Andre: The RAZR maxx V6 has both design and functionality, which is why I'm going to be the owner of one soon.
@ TheStig: It doesn't, though Apple has called it "2.5G" for some reason, hoping that some providers would round it up to 3G

Consider your-self lucky.... I'm still stuck with my broken V3m because no-one will take me out to the Alltel store to get it replaced.Porsche-AG wrote:@ Andre: The RAZR maxx V6 has both design and functionality, which is why I'm going to be the owner of one soon.

Re: What Phone Do You Have?
No offense to you, man, but I don't like and I can't like the K800i,cuz of the joystick.I had one at my K300i.It's very good at surfing the menu, but the appearance it's *thumbsdown*.
The only thing I like at K800i is that Cybershot Camera.
I like the 5-Directional pad that I have on N70.
P.S. I hope you won't have problems with it.

Re: What Phone Do You Have?
The joystick is easy as to use, I love the phone so far. I took a picture in the dark, and the quality was better than my digicam aswell.

Re: What Phone Do You Have?
The joystick tends to malfunction after a while though. (Depends on usage).Lan.Evo.III wrote:The joystick is easy as to use, I love the phone so far. I took a picture in the dark, and the quality was better than my digicam aswell.
And either your digicam is really bad/old or you didn't set it up properly.. :p Phone cameras don't put out great quality pictures (if you watch them in real size), but they're good for quick shots that are only viewed on the phone itself.

Wow, I'm glad I didn't have the software to upload pictures from my current 0.3 mp camera phone then. They looked extremely horrible on the phone!

Re: What Phone Do You Have?
Lol. My didgicam is about a year old. And the settings wernt messed with. You just have to take into account that the phone has a Cybershot camera, but the digicam doesnt.

Re: What Phone Do You Have?
That doesn't make any sense. ''Cybershot'' is just a line of Sony digital cameras, there isn't anything special about them.Lan.Evo.III wrote:You just have to take into account that the phone has a Cybershot camera, but the digicam doesnt.

Re: What Phone Do You Have?
I'm sure it doesnt, because I'm pretty sure that the last generation of Sony cameras also had Cybershot? And the generation before that? Cybershot is a peice of technology that is ahead of other technology(refering to my digicam). Now tell my how it doesnt make sense?

Re: What Phone Do You Have?
Lan.Evo.III, "Cypershot" refers to a division of Sony that has been renamed quite recently. It's like how they have the Sony Ericcson division for phones, Sony Bravia for televisions, and Sony Vaio for laptops. Sony Cybershot is not a piece of technology, but a brand name. It in no way makes your camera better.

Re: What Phone Do You Have?

Re: What Phone Do You Have?
The 6230 is the better phone of the 2, but I would go for the "i" version of the 6230 (6230i)
It has a better screen then the normal 6230 and also a better camera.
