Re: NFSPS Updates at Gamespot
First, I'd like to say: Autobahn!!!!
Also, few new cars unearthed.
Mustang GT Is this a Lancer Evo X? And I have no earthly idea what this car is
From what it sounds like Pro Street will be a pure racing game. No more fancy storyline or snazzy cops or free roam. Pure and simple racing with the only objective to be the best of the best. A real detour for EA. Gameplay does sound like it won't be very long, and there won't be ANY replay value whatsoever. But I personally need more information to make that call. Also, few new cars unearthed.

Re: NFSPS Updates at Gamespot
wow! and that last muscle is a plymouth roadrunner i think.
Re: NFSPS Updates at Gamespot
as for the 2 new screen shots i think it tells us that the groups or gang and the kings that we are going to compete with in the game
Re: NFSPS Updates at Gamespot
I must say the artists in this game have done a tremendous job with the new style in PS, it actually looks really cool. But on the other hand, the guy in the interview is simply reading off a textbook so to speak. I always hate that, get some real human beings for the PR jobs.

Re: NFSPS Updates at Gamespot

Re: NFSPS Updates at Gamespot
Is there gone be new discipline in NFSPS?I saw on picture Grip King.
Re: NFSPS Updates at Gamespot
Grip is Circuit now. Look at the logo. And Speed Challenge is going to be something like speedtrap, but without the traps. I like the ideea with the crown. It looks nice.
Caine pan' la moarte si dincolo de ea!
Re: NFSPS Updates at Gamespot
EA released some good screenies.
Like the D.K.(Drift king) thing.
And the Autobahn,i think it will be used for drag-racing.

Re: NFSPS Updates at Gamespot
We're cool I just hope one of my beloved mopars didn't lose a spot because of it I loved the car selection in carbon even tho the corvette/audi dominated tier 3 racing I had pretty good results wih my'08 challenger concept online so I loved it, dominated tier 2 with the 1969 charger R/T on most of open tracks(straightways) I loved every mopar on carbon except the '69 roadrunner which you couldn't tune on xbox 360 version which sucked........ even 71 challenger and its horrible handing(stats said different) was useful. I mean I understand they need to introduce some new muscle car blood for the mopars to whop up on cause the 67 GT500 mustang was about the only oldschool non mopar that came close to the dodge/chrysler muscle cars the camaro from tier 1 was a jokeFishwhiz wrote:Tviper7 wrote:Fishwhiz wrote:wow! and that last muscle is a plymouth roadrunner i think.

Re: NFSPS Updates at Gamespot
Watch the video and pay attention to what's being said and shown.SPiLLER wrote:or speed challenge...taz947 wrote: And the Autobahn,i think it will be used for drag-racing.
In Pro Street, there will be three stages of racing before you can challenge the street "Kings." The first one will be in the United States (don't remember what it was called), the second one set in Europe/Asia, and the third one a world event. Each stage will have all events (Drag, Drift, Grip, Speed Challenge) and the player will be required to become "king" of each stage before advancing to the next stage.
In short, there's no guarantee that there will only be Drag Racing on the Autobahn, and there's no guarantee that there won't be Drag Racing anywhere else. I think there was a video shown at E3 with Drag Racing in the Nevada desert.
On a side note, anyone remember the Infineon Raceway pics? Me thinks that each "stage" in Pro Street will have multiple arenas with multiple meets (e.g. Infineon Raceway and Nevada for the US stage). That sounds better to me than a simple one-meet-per-stage deal. Longer game play.
Re: NFSPS Updates at Gamespot
yeah I think your right the locations are more the venues for different events so to speak , so the drag area would be seamingly be seperate, the speed challange in nevada desert would be seperate, the grip would all most likely be seperate along with the drift tracks........... I have say I like that they finally decided to grow up and cut out the bs ala cop chases(and crappy freeroam no were near the freedom of MC3) take it back to basics being about racing, speed, customization performance/visual and good tracks(hopefully) screw the corny storylines and the crappy model/make believe girlfriend eye candy for those who believe that garbage actually added to replay value of the game only god can help ya

Re: NFSPS Updates at Gamespot
From what I understood, the Evo X is the Street King. You must beat him to complete the game.
Correct me if I'm wrong, and don't get mad on me.

Re: NFSPS Updates at Gamespot
tthe PIAA RX7
had noise bomb in the background so that must mean aki kimura drives it: and he/she is the drift king. the silver M3 had ray kreiger in the background so that means the grip king drives it. I think ryan cooper is the protagonists name and RYO is the street king with his evo X. i'd be surprised if the mustang was driven by anoyne other than the drag king. of course, i may be horribly mistaken or those cars were simply used by people in the king's crews.
also, the the following car is a hemi cuda.

Re: NFSPS Updates at Gamespot
don't get to tense up, the Evo X would probably be a boss car, same as R8 in Carbon, although it's tunable, as seen in the movie ...
what's with that train bumper on the Mustang? looks like a shnizit snowplow
from the stages, the "r3act" one seems to me the coolest from the 3 types ... is it the name?
