I'd get the green S500i if I had to get an Ericsson. =D

I was just about to get the S500 but...I dunno...after I saw and read the review here: http://www.mobile-review.com/review/son ... 0-en.shtml, I changed my mind. It doesn't look as cool in real life and the plastic looks very cheap!

I suggest that if you want a Sony Ericcson slider, get the new W580 as it is very similar to the S500 but has a few more features, looks better (IMO), and has better music capabilities:

I've also heard that the keypad on the S500 breaks very easily, so you could always get the W610 (My new phone by September 6th), as it has gotten very good reviews and is basically just a slimmer version of the W810 (Which also good decent reviews).

I'll make sure I post my personal comments once I get the phone via UPS to let any would-be-buyers know about the ups and downs of this camera/mp3 phone.

Still is... amazing battery life, too (9 hours talk-time). Only thing missing is EDGE (Quite neccesary for non-3G regions right now).

Hmmm, the keypad on the W610i is a killer I must say.. I don't quite like it personally. I like keypads which are big an non-seperated. :P

@ Andre: I find that with those types of keypads, it is easy to click more than one button (even if you don't have big fingers) when you might not press right in the center. With buttons seperated, it's harder to click more than one, even if the actual buttons are smaller as you have a smaller area to put your finger on to activate the button.

@ HaZ: Wow, lucky/skilled guy. Doesn't he also have a contract with the company now to teach the employees how to unlock iPhones?

That dude from CertiCell should have just waited until the iPhone's released in Asia. Asia phones are never locked, plus 3G! :|

At least he wouldn't have to spend so much money just to trade in an unlocked iPhone for 3 frickin' locked iPhone's + Nissan 350Z. Is he just a pure rich a**?

You sound jealous. Lol, it's his cash, and that's a pretty good trade...i'd trade that 1 iPhone for 3 locked ones (which he could just unlock...) and a Z =P

LOL! I ain't jealous man. He could have just used or spent the money for something else than making a loss for something that he already has. :?

If I was that guy, I would have started my own "Black Market" iPhone unlocking business. Sure, I wouldn't have a 350Z immediately but it would be easy to purchase with all the money owned by a monopoly in the iPhone-unlocking market.

What i would of done is that i would of taken the trade but not tell them how to unlock it (or tell them partially what to do).

@ steelsnake: You've got the older brother of my phone :P (W610/K550). Dang.. I just realized that I could have saved $20 if I bought the K550 from the same seller, which has the exact same features.

Speaking of which, so far my W610 has been working perfectly for almost a week, the sound quality is exceptional, even through the speakers. Though I haven't transferred any pictures I've taken with the phone, it's quite obvious that the 2 MP camera is very good and I'm still learning many of the camera features. The User Interface is easy to get used to and looks great. The only 'problem' I have right now is that I can't use the NetFront browser, but this probably has to do with the Pay As You Go plan I'm currently on.
