Its a monster with a monster price tag..But its a non-gaming grpahic card as Nvidia has described it as for engineers and professionals.I wonder how wiill it be to play a game on one of these. But for that you'll be needing a $ 25K system too.

Given that the Quadros have historically sucked for DirectX performance, I'd say you'd be better off with quad 8800 Ultras ...

I'm not that much knowledgable in graphic ards but can this Quadroplex run a game.I mean if a system has this card then will it be able to run a game or its not designed to run a game.

It propably can RUN the game, but since it isn't designed for gaming use (at all) mostly likely not nearly to its full potential. On the other hand, this particular system being way the heck above any home user cards available, even that could be quite impressive.

Quadro cards are designed (and certified) for professional OGL applications.

One possible use that comes to mind, yes. Keep in mind though, that this isn't a single card by no means. It's a separate VCS (Visual Computing System) module which can be equipped with up to four separate Quadro card. And on top of that you'd need a professional workstation to use it. We're talking propably 50 000 $ worth of hardware here...

Am I missing something here? This is old technology...the 8-Series video cards didn't even exist when this was announced...
