Re: Post your Desktop
The ear resemblence is the only prominent feature (other than color, which isn't that important as I could put a yellow Lamborghini next to a yellow Chevrolet Malibu and say that they resemble each other using your justifications) that would make the 2 creatures look the same.
The red "spots" under the wolf's eyes are triangles.
Pikachu has a much smoother texture.
Pikachu has a nose 0.5% the size of the wolf.
Pikachu has no teeth.
Pikachu's fur doesn't stick out like he/she is cold or is erotically happy about something.
Pikachu has 2 legs and 2 arms while the wolf has 4 legs.
Pikachu has black/brown round eyes while the wolf has odd shaped red eyes.

Re: Post your Desktop
Jo mate, that Pikachu looks transformed, what's wrong with him, has he been through some ruff experiments?

Re: Post your Desktop
OH MY GAWD how hard can it be to understand that the artist who drew the picture was making a TOUGH version of Pikachu? If you really think about it and look at the picture it's really not that hard to realize that.
Re: Post your Desktop
That doesn't really explain how a Pikachu mutated from a rodent to a canine.
(We're having an argument about Pokemon, lawl.)

Re: Post your Desktop
Pokemon can be changed by an artists imagination. They can make something that looks kinda dumb and fluffy and turn into an awesome beastly creature.
Re: Post your Desktop
I don't see how. They turned it into a completely original creation so it wouldn't be copyright infringement.
Re: Post your Desktop
Well, according to you, it obviously resembles a Pikachu and I'm sure that was the artist's intention, so...

Just to clarify (in case people thought it) I didn't draw it. I found it on DeviantART.danyutz wrote:Jopuma wrote:

@ Jopuma: To clarify my views, please imagine the Pikachu "evolving" into whatever it evolves into. I'm pretty sure that it looks nothing like that wolf you showed before. I did a quick Google search and found "Raichu" which happens to be what Pikachu evolves into:

The Raichu is a tougher version of Pikachu, and that artist's rendition of "Pikachu" follows the same path of making Pikachu look tough but fails horribly by creating a monster not related in any way to Pikachu.

Re: Post your Desktop
OMG. Stop all this discussion about that "pikachu" not being a "pikachu" already. The creator of this "pikachu" is making his own version of pikachu.

Re: Post your Desktop
already understood from your 1st post, that the evolved Pika isn't your work, but the effects are. that's for what I've been congratulating you.Jopuma wrote:Just to clarify (in case people thought it) I didn't draw it. I found it on DeviantART.

I think it was there when I first started the laptop up. Or it might've been when I installed the Yahoo! toolbar.
