[NFSMW] Everything is happening too fast

hi everybody. so, i decided to install most wanted again but i have a weird problem.everything happens much faster than it should...it doesnt change with different graphics settings, here are the pc specs if theyre needed.

cpu-amd 64 x2 5500+
ram-2x1gb
gpu-asus geforce 600gt
hdd-2x160gb
dont remember the mb

Did you get the AMD Dual Core Optimizer? I had this same problem before I got that.

I have an AMD Processor (although not the same model you do) and i don't have that problem, but i'ld suggest that you run NFSMW and once the same starts you minimize it and bring up the Task Manager (pressing CTRL + ALT + Delete is the shortcut key i think) and find the process called speed.exe, right click on it and click on Set Affinity, now on the window that pops up uncheck CPU 1, click on OK, close the task manager and swith to NFSMW and see if that works.

If it does work you'll have to do this everytime you are going to play NFSMW, in other words everytime you close the game and launch it again you have to repeat the procedure i described above.

With the optimizer installed, you no longer have to Alt+Tab out.

thank you, it helped. now i have a different problem and because of this i still think that nfsmw is a game thats full of bugs and glitches. my game crashes pretty much every time after 2-5 races =/ the only thing i can do then is to restart the pc

Check for overheating, both on the CPU and the graphics card. Also make sure your power supply is capable of supporting your system for extended periods of time.
