Re: NFS Pro Street: Official Discussion Thread
Hmm... If there isn't no reply, do you think there will be any photo mode? i love it on forza,PGR4 it would suck just alittle tiny bit if they don't have it.
Re: NFS Pro Street: Official Discussion Thread
seems there will be, definitely for the pc, probably for the 360, and hopefully for the ps3.
Re: NFS Pro Street: Official Discussion Thread
Yes there will be a photo mode cant wait to take pictres of my banged up Lancer...
err what frame rate drop...maybe i have an untrained eye but it seemed perfectly smooth to me... anyone else notice the frame drops, when he switched the camera to close/far? i'm nervous about that thing

Re: NFS Pro Street: Official Discussion Thread
I did test the NFS ProStreet demo yesterday, it was just one speed challenge race. My first impression is that the driving feeling is rely good but overall the graphic and so was not so impressive, i had everything set to the highest with all eye candy on and i have a rely good computer that can handle any game. OK it was a dessert race and just one race, but if this is a demo that EA want to promote there new NFS game, they rely have flunked it.

Re: NFS Pro Street: Official Discussion Thread
Er, there is a grip race too.
I don't use pwned. I use BSODed. It's less cool and harder to say. I know.
Re: NFS Pro Street: Official Discussion Thread
do the grip race too, with the gtr.
ive found out that this game can turn into a burnout. in the long strait out of the tunnel, i slammed a red rx-7 into the wall and it did a burnout style takedown where the car flipped against the wall and ended up upside down.

Re: NFS Pro Street: Official Discussion Thread
Damn the graphics are so awesome.
If my system will be:
Core 2 Duo 2.0 ghz (or 2.2 ghz)
Point Of View 6800XT 512mb AGP 8X
2x 512mb Kingston RAm sticks (1gig RAM)
ASROCK Motherboard
Will I be able to play ProStreet at decent settings?

Re: NFS Pro Street: Official Discussion Thread
let me fresh up your mind a little:
No offence, but did you get my point?
Anyway, to answer your question:
Your CPU and RAM are fine, i'm just wondered why you have a Core 2 Duo processor with an AGP videocard? I didn't know there were mobo's like that....
Maybe your videocard could become a botleneck, but, as i said, i do not know the performance of your videocard.

I here to seek help from u guys...I'm currently waiting for the release of NFS Pro Street in Malaysia...But,before buying the game,I hope that u guys can give me some advice and opinion about my PC's specs before i buy this game so that i can play it smoothly.
I'm also a NFS fan and have been waited for every release of NFS since da Hot Persuit 2!
Lately,I bought a new PC coz my old one is already broken down...so sad...
My Current PC's specs :
1)Windows XP Pro SP2
2)Intel Core 2 Duo E6550 2.33GHz 1333FSB
3)Kingston 2GB RAM
4)MSI GeForce 8600 GT DDR3 256MB (OC Version)
5)Intel Desktop Board Media Series DP35DP Motherboard
6)Encloxure Shinobi Chassis
Actually...I'm scared that i won't be able to play this game(NFS Pro Street) coz i saw the system requirements for this game is at least 2.8 GHz for Windows XP and 3.0GHz for Vista!!!
I've got only 2.33GHz Core 2 Duo...coz it's a big gap between 2.33 and 2.8...u know...
so frustrated.........
But i can play NFS Carbon SMOOTHLY with these specs.
Please help me and explain how will my system's specs perform when it comes to NFS PS.
Thanks a lot to u guyz...

It's not nice to talk like that to people who just have a very logical question, but it's even worse to then post EXACTLY the same thing on another topic.blah2 wrote:Try the demo and don't bother us with blatant obvious stupid questions.

Who found out you can get milk from a cow, and what the hell was he doing at the moment?

Re: NFS Pro Street: Official Discussion Thread
Last time i checked they didnt add too much new stuff. The stuff they did at leipzig and the other videos added were already seen before at webs like IGN or Gamespot.
Ill go there to check if that has changed from yesterday though.
Cheers!!!

it looks to me that peeps own PCs but don't know about them
@blah 2, mate, you have a Core 2 Duo CPU, that means that there are 2 cores in a single CPU, even though you have that 2.2 GHz it will work. I have a Ath64 3200+, and it runs on 2.2Ghz., but it's on 64, so it works better than a AthXP 2200+. Do some research on wikipedia, to see how the CPU stuff is going on, also try http://www.systemrequirementslab.com ... the site will provide you information on how the game will work.
