Re: NFS ProStreet: Car Codes

Post by prince1142003 »

If you're having loading issues, make sure that you've replaced BOTH instances of the hexcode. The first part is the logo code and the second part is the associated car code. If you get the logo code right but not the car code, then the game will show the logo but show a loading screen for the car.

e.g. -> Say you're replacing the Acura RSX with the McLaren F1. The code for the Acura RSX is BB89E400 and the McLaren F1 is CFD56242. When replacing, you'd replace BB89E400BB89E400 with CFD56242CFD56242. Notice how it's repeated?

Besides YaelDjiel with his excellent tutorials on pres basics and now cparty with this save game for ProStreet there has not been any other member in site ( to my knowledge )that has helped the others with so unselfishness. I applaud both of them. :D

What I am going to do, is start a new career, from the beggining, but with the help of the ten millions I can upgrade the cars to the top available. Later I will start using the super cars available. Is a cheat, but not so big cheat. With that I can sleep with my concious a little more in peace.... #-o

THANKS A LOT cparty......STANDING OVATION FOR YOUR CONTRIBUITION.

Are you kidding me? All the valued members have definitely contributed willingly in one form or another, including people like arushan, who created the demo expander for PS and Ferrari for MW.

Then there's the countless number of people who create signatures for people less experienced (A great example is Jopuma, to which my sig is courtesy of) and the tutorials topic is basically a thread dedicated to people who want to help others out.

@ Porsche - AG

Sorry if I offend someone that have helped in the site, but as I said TO MY KNOWLEDGE, then is reasonably that I would leave out the ones that I do not know have helped. Was not trying to let any one out, only mention the ones that I only know. I have been only a year here, and do not know the others that you mention. Even is the first time I see your name, is not my fault not to know ALL the members here.

TO ALL WHO HAS HELPED IN A WAY OR ANOTHER, KNOWING THEM OR NOT KNOWING THEM, THANKS A LOT GUYS. :D

Okay. I just took it that way because you said "there has not been any other member in site (to [your] knowledge)" and the tone that I saw come out of that was one of thinking that no one else in the site contributed anything that was worth something.

Next time try not to use infinitives so loosely

Ok got it working.

Couldnt seem to add the cars directly to the garage. It would only say "Loading"

There are also some cars that wouldnt let me replace them in the car lot. I would also get "Loading"

I ended up replacing the 240SX like in the example and it worked perfectly. :P

Maybe I was just tired.

For those who are having that loading screen problem, when you're adjusting the car codes, make sure you press enter after inserting the last value so that last code box which is in column 12 becomes shaded in black, if you dont do this, it wont show the car in the game.

here is what i mean, i am using ArtMoney SE V7.27.1 btw.
Adjusted the last value without pressing enter - Loading screen in the game.
Adjusted the last value without pressing enter - Loading screen in the game.
Pressed Enter after adjusting the last value - Car appears in the game.
Pressed Enter after adjusting the last value - Car appears in the game.
Hope that helps.

SRDragoon20: If you apply a "normal" bodykit to a car, some parts miss... like the top, trunk and rear bumpers. Just widesomething bodykit works... at least I tried normal bodykits and stock bodykit with autosculpt and the cars are deformed :)

Btw, I tuned the Carrera GT with 4 stage performance stuff but the car handles the same :(. The same with Veyron :(. There isn't a way to load up the cars characteristics?

Well, I don't know what the deal was, but I rebooted my pc, tried again, and the extra cars work perfectly now :D
Andre_online wrote:OMG.. Is the handling of the S2K as bad as it's stated in the performance bar??
Well, seeing as how it's reached level 3 in the handling department, I wouldn't consider that too bad at all.
