Well...this is it.
I got bored of NFS Pro Street. At the start I was having tons of fun, tuning cars and son on....but...after beating the 3 main events, I really got bored! I went through all the other events such as the Nitrocide, and the 4 kings, but in that point, I was just playing by inertia...

I got to Ryo, only to realize that Catch-Up was there again (with my overpowered 911 Turbo) and making my life almost impossible. I beat Ryo....and I was like: "....mmm....What now?"

Don't know...I'm going to uninstall this game, pack it again and put it on a shelf....

I really miss the arcade thing like cops, free roam, and more bs

What are you talking about?! Now you can have fun on the revolutionary online mode!!! It's awesome. The cars fly around in the air and do back flips!

Yes, but that's only for lucky bastards who own a 360 or a PS3. Wii and PS2 owners aren't so fortunate however.

Weell Wii owners where screwed as soon as they bought the Wii.
Almost no games have a online mode (are there even games that can go online?)
Only thing the Wii has is the Wii-mote and all that is good for is for fun games where you can do all crazy things with the controler. but it's basicly useless for any serious game.

PS2 users is a diffirent story, they have to accept they now have a outdated system that can no longer really full play the next gen games.
If it was as good as a PS3, what is the use for the PS3
PS2 is a dying system and games availeble for it now are it's last signs of life....
And you could have seen it comming cause Carbon on the PS2 was already a heavely stripped version, so Pro Street can't be any diffirent.

Only rich stuck-ups can afford a new system. Poor people like me for example will have to make do with what they already own.

I was being sarcastic about the online mode, in case you guys didn't catch that... It's probably the worst online racing gameplay I've ever played, aside from the previous NFS games which also sucked online.

@ Argentum

What is the WRX is faster than a GT. If it is, then you'll just have to deal with it. :P

First off, I was referring to the boredom part.

Second, don't expect cops in ProStreet. There's legal closed tracks in the game, of course there's no cops in sight! As for your "exotic locations" mumbo-jumbo, those were hard to navigate in NFS3 (for my PC).

So people with jobs and who can afford a 360/PS3 or gaming PC are rich stuckups? :| Get a job and you won't be poor (or at least as poor as you're claiming now).

The job gig wouldn't be a problem if I was 16 (which I will be in May).

0verall, ProStreet to me was a 4-star game (out of 5). In a way, this game has exceeded all expectations, with the exception of taking out customization mode, as well as removing some of my favorite tuners, such as the Integra Type-R, the RSX, Celica, and the S2000.

I miss those 4 cars, really. I breezed through Underground 1 with those.

Umm, the Integra Type-R and Acura RSX are available normally, and the S2000 can be gotten after updating to patch 1.1 and applying the user-made cheat code enabling patch.

Thanks for the info, but I'm not into patches. I just put in regular cheat codes I see on the web.

Speaking of cheating, whose bright idea was it to make trainers for U1 and U2? Because of it, online gaming for those two ain't safe anymore.

FYI, the cheat codes worked in the original 1.0 EXE, but were disabled in the 1.1 EXE. We just re-enabled them so that the additional content can be accessed.

The Only car of the 4 cars mentioned that I do miss (and is not availeble in the game at all) is the last gen Celica.
I realy expected EA to put it back in the NFS series.

What's wrong with the other 3 cars? Though those 3 do lack reputation in NFS, they do whup the Celica in the game.

Because they do exist in NFS PS.
The RSX and the Integra Type-R (still the annoying US Acura versions, but ok) are in PS, and can be bought without any cheat or editing.
The S2000 is currently only availeble with editing. but will be availeble in the game for everyone (who as a PS version the can go online)

So the only car I do miss out of those 4 is the last gen Celica, because it's NOT in PS.

You didn't get a crap of what I was saying.....

Dude...I'm a OLD SCHOOL NFS PLAYER. I born with The Need For Speed, and later with the other games. I really want to see damn cops around my a** chasing my Ferrari 550 Maranello like the god damn old days for many many hours. I NEVER expected cops on ProStreet because I read many months before the release that cops weren't going to be here.

And how the god lord you can say that NFS3 tracks were hard? Dude...even my cousing who has 4 years can manage to pass them without a damn busted or being last on a race! Jesus......
And exotic locations fun is nothing compared to the new boring "tracks?"....baaa...

I don't know what I keep talking about this crap.... turns me upset..... :?

Ooo.. Chill dude. Chill. ;)

There's a reason why EA implemented an online mode in ProStreet. *hint* ;)

Changing the subject:

This is an annoying thing in Pro Street - not sure if this has been mentioned before but nevermind - rolling your car ALWAYS results in it being totalled (at least it does for me).

I managed to screw up near to the end of lap 3 of a race yesterday, turned over at about 20 MPH, rolled once, slowly, and ended back on my wheels... this sort of roll would never have written the car off in real life (especially if it is fitted with a roll cage). It would still be driveable, although not too pretty.

Ho hum.
