tbh, depends what was fight about, ofc noones asking you to post it here, but well, if the fight was because of her actions/sayings and later on you took the blame just to keep her, then it can get her into thoughts that she can do it again. In that case, that was a bad idea. If the fight was because of both of you or just you, then you did perfectly fine and flowers would be ofc a great addition.

No carcrazy, that was something completely different and it wasn't anything about the relationship. But I've been talking with her most of the day and we have worked it out pretty good. Still gonna give her the flowers and a big apology tomorrow night because I know her well enough to know there is still something wrong.

That is really horrible Race_invader, nobody (should) wants thats to happen to anybody.
only thing you can do, is to do what she wants you to do for her, in other words if she wants you to stay with her as much as possible do it, if she wants some time on her own, do it (but make sure that is what she really wants, but I doubt she will say something she doesn't want you to do)

It's not that hard to stay away from dodgy places, especially when you aren't wandering around in the middle of the night at 2 am looking for a hotspot to party at.

@ race_invader: It's definitely not her fault, and you should try to tell her that, but after this is all over it might be beneficial to help her realize that some situations have a higher chance of 'rapage' than others.

And Porsche is right... I live out in the middle of (almost) nowhere... and we have so many gangs and drug deals going on in this town it's not even funny... a town in the middle of the sticks, with one of the largest growing gang problems... Just two weeks ago, 2 girls were kidnapped, (and I think killed.) We've also had to dedicate a very large drug prevention team with the local police forces... About 1-2 months ago, a few teens were held hostage by a gang, and forced to do things, such as your girlfriend was. The bad part is that they were all boys...

My point is, is that bad stuff can happen anywhere... even to the best of people.

I'm sorry to hear that, race-invader... Unfortunately rape is pretty common nowadays. About one in three women will get raped in their lives. Just do whatever you can to comfort her, it will definitely take some time to get over.

I don't know the situation, but it seems most of you assume she was snatched off the street and raped. I think something like 85% of the time, the victims know the perpetrator.
