The Furai looks somewhat like the Taiko concept with a different rear bumper and stuff, and it looks good. The RS, looks weird and not like a Lancer at all (same problem with the Lancer X, in my opinion), but still looks good.

Ugly. As. Sin. Both of them. The Furai is way too flashy and full unnecessary bits and pieces to be practical in any way shape or form on a race track. If it doesn't become an actual car, I'm sure it will be severely reworked (especially the front).

How are you so sure that the RS concept is actually supposed to be the next lancer?

I could be the next Eclipse or something. Or just a brand new car alltogether.

@ xHaZxMaTx: You're waay to conservative with how a car looks. I tend to like both of them because of the futuristic look they have.

Yeah, you kinda are but that's your opinion, not for anyone to change :)

It looks like it could be a model in a new batman movie :D 8) and the RS...it's not bad, it just takes some getting used to on the eyes

It's a race car; it's supposed to be conservative. :|

Well that one had tons of decals. The one on the street didn't have any. Maybe this is Mazda's first supercar. :-k

But anyway if its a racecar it's not supposed to be conservative, like its the law or anything. Maybe that shape of the car works better with getting past air resistance than a more conservative style. Pretty much all cars that come out are tested in a wind tunnel. Or at least should be.

The one in GT3/4 was the 787B, the only Japanese car to ever win Le Mans 24hr in 1991.

Looks like a new company to me. Never heard of MCE before, but this is the MC1 concept.

They're all computer rendered cars, but it is a dang good looking concept car. And I already know what xHaZx is going to say, so he doesn't even have to post.

And the Mitsubishi Prototype-S. As far as I'm aware this is an EVO X hatchback.

Hmm, looks OK. Look at the guy driving it in the first pic, looks like he's stolen it or something.

EDIT:
Battery Electric Vehicle technology in expressive “2+2” Dodge sports car style

Detroit, Jan 14, 2008 - The 2008 Dodge ZEO—Zero Emissions Operation—concept vehicle is a four-passenger, all-electric, “2+2” sport wagon that embraces the bold, emotional characteristic of the Dodge brand. With its 23-inch wheels-to-the corners, heroic proportions and muscular forms, the ZEO exhibits a new youthful breed of muscle-machine interface.
Dodge owners and those who will desire the ZEO concept are unquestionably driving enthusiasts. They are less family-oriented, with a desire for things that are high-tech, and place less emphasis on pure practicality. While they boast environmental and overall responsibility, they also exhibit a “need for speed.”

“The Dodge ZEO concept is designed to break the paradigm of what an electric car should look like,” said Bill Zheng, Dodge ZEO principal exterior designer. “An electric car can be as expressive as any gasoline-powered vehicle. The Dodge ZEO concept proves that point, and then some.”

To this end, the ZEO’s body has been given an active, three-dimensional form, with the fenders boldly offset to the body.
Meh, electric car :|

No B-pillars and a panoramic glass ceiling/roof? That's just asking for decapitation. :P

There's nothing wrong with electric cars. They're actually better than gasoline cars. All that needs improvement is battery technology. Electric motors and batteries have come a very long way from when electric cars first came out. And that was in the early 1900's when the first cars were getting released.

Oh what a crime it doesn't have B-pillars!

Panoramic glass ceiling/roof? Hmmm not bad for passengers that want to get a nice view of the sky while driving. I also think it has a cover that's drawn over it so it doesn't cause discomfort from sunshine getting in.

yeah if I almost close my eyes and look at the picture I can see a Z4 Coupe in it.... oh no wait I had my eyes fully closes and imagined a Z4...

Like most concepts the chance this will go into production is almost non existant.
Even if they use features will will not look anything like this.
Like most concepts they have styling features that are not allowed on the open road, like in this case blue lines in the rear lights.

I have to say I find the Dodge rather ugly.

I think that little Toyota concept looks pretty nifty. :) It's very subtle for a concept, unlike all the other cars with extravagant flare-y bits and lights and weird designs in the body panels, funky HUDs and whatnot.
