He mentioned replacing a large engine with a smaller one, when both the previous examples given were smaller engines with larger ones.

You're not going to find a 425 Chevy long block from your local car shop in Japan. To put it simply, transplanting the RB motor from the scrapped Silvia made perfect logistic sense.

And my favourite is the original Fast and Furious.

Perfect logical sense in a "it can be done, but for the love of god don't do it" sense.

ditto... i mean, a Mustang's ENGINE is the good part of the Mustang, and an RB engine would work best only in cars that either have RB engines available, or have worse engines in the first place. i mean, RBs supposedly have lots of power potential, but Mustang V8s probably have more.

however, in my opinion, a V8-powered Skyline would be pretty lame too, except in a G35 which is a Skyline in name only anyway, and has a VQ engine which you can get more easily relative to the RB engine (350Z has a VQ engine anyway).

The fast and the furious is the best..it has the best story line and great movie inside, nuttin crap like "tokyo drift"..which was actually pointless movie..i mean it didnt had reasons like..umm..i cant say cuz i dont know what to say...well it was just for me. The fast and furious 2 was also awesome movie! it really had point like brian was cop and doing all kinda stuff..i think it was brilliant movie too! but i gave my vote still to FnF1.

Waiting for FnF4 which comes in 2009!:D

tokyo drift was crap... i mean... 18yo kid comes to japan, sees the drift for the first time, gets best chick, best car, this that, and beats the crap out of tekken and yakuza and his 350z... and all that in only one movie?!

First FnF was best. Tho no2 wasnt bad eighter.

Best storyline: 2Fast2Furious
Best Cars: After watching it again, 2F2F again. Especially the SRT10 and Saleen SR (before it got trashed under that truck...)

Really I didn't understand any of the storylines in either of them, but despite that 2F2F was easiest to understand. Still can't get though how a Skyline, no matter how worked it was in the "turbocharged monologue" could take down a 360 Spider. And the sense of speed is kinda wrong too, the motion blurs and all that make it feel like it's going a million miles an hour, when the cars only doing 120MPH...

Just recently watched Tokyo Drift again, I've noticed, that when Sean is learning how to drift, the 2 fishermen give him a laugh, one of them is Tsuchiya lol, the other one is a race driver too.

Dude... stock skylines give 360s a run for their money, let alone this one:

Yes, but 430>Skyline>360.

I don't care what you say, I just don't play the tuner game. And besides, considering that most cars are supposed to be driven from A to B, I'd rather go in style. And besides, I think no matter what you do to it, while Skylines are cool, they will never match Italian Stallions...

Haha, you make me laugh.

Actually, you sound a lot like that TS-X guy who was here a while ago.
In other words, you're completely and utterly wrong. A modified Skyline can absolutely kill a 430.
Anywhere, anytime.
