Meh....

Not as impressive as solar eclipses. I've seen the lunar eclipse several times now and its not all that impressive. It's just the moon turning orange/red and I'm not really keen on getting up at 5 AM and freeze my asphalt off in the cold night air just to look at the moon turn red.

Although if I had a nice telescope it would've been cool to take a look at the rings of Saturn and Rigel (at least I think that was the star that was going to make an appearance).

EDIT: I just noticed that if a word contains a swear in it, the filter filters the whole word. So ""sh*tsicklelol"" would be: shiznit.

You sure you're not just talking about a harvest moon?

A lunar eclipse is when the moon passes through Earth's shadow. It is common for the moon to turn red during an eclipse, though this is not always the case.

Harvest moons are yellow bakayero. Didn't I say "orange/red"? Obviously I'm talking about a lunar eclipse which I've seen several times now and they're not as impressive as the first time seeing one.

I took some terrible pictures of it last night. At least you'll get an idea of what color it was...

i googled a bit and found out that the moon can have a bluish color at night. i think it happened in 2006 in june. i gotta see that
