And that's keeping people from uploading their entries in the showroom before or during the challenge. That ruins the competition imo. The rest worked fine, especially the voting tour was good.
You mean uploading the SRChallenge's entries before the SRChallenge starts? I don't think it serves as an advantage at all, but instead, a disadvantage. Reason is, other users will know who's the creator of that car if it appears in the SRChallenge, which should be kept hidden before the challenge ends.
Yeah, I didn't know how it worked, so I won't do it next time. It doesn't go into new entries though.
I'm happy with the theme though... I only have a Shelby as a muscle car, and the only other old school ride is my AE86... Time to build a flaming drag weapon!

So the next challenge has been decided. Theme will be american hot rods - old muscle cars, superchargers, flaming vinyls, lots of chrome...
Allowed cars:
1967 Chevrolet Camaro SS
1970 Chevrolet Chevelle SS
1971 Dodge Challenger R/T
1969 Dodge Charger R/T
1967 Shelby GT500
1970 Plymouth Hemi Cuda
1968 Plymouth Road Runner
1965 Pontiac GTO
1967 Chevrolet Corvette C2
Official announcement should go up tomorrow after r3actchallenge finishes.
But before it goes, I'd need somebody to make a good demo car. If you want to help, pm me the picture of the demo car (which of course has to follow the general challenge rules = same as classic category).
Love this showroom challenge theme also, will be trying to participate this time

u bet i am .. this is something new and pretty tough for me as ive never really customized a old school ride.. but ill give it a shot .. am im expecting something really really awesome from u for your skills .. so have u uploaded it yet?
I've uploaded mine nice and early. Only made 3 old school, non jap, rides before this one... a clean camaro, a showy, offset two tone camaro, both in carbon, and only my suit/mural GT500 in Prostreet... but I have plenty of ideas as always, keeping up with the car scene.
Let me know if you guessed mine right when the comp starts.
yeah.. u do really know alot regarding cars and customizations .. have always loved to read ur really detailed description on your rides as it helps me understan more and notice even the slightest details ... n ive never missed rating your rides since im in NFSUnlimited and i guess it will be pretty easy for me to know which is gonna be your ride..(probably one of the best in kickin' other rides bumbum around!!) lol.. anyways good luck to u man .. ..
Idea!
Car audio demo cars? Something completely different in the PS showroom... something challenging! Could put those graphics vinyls to good use.
thats actually a good idea .. so...whats in store for the next comp? mayb list down all the ideas given and start a voting system to see what should be the next theme for the comp.. lol .. then followed by the second for the next comp n so on.. lol ..
about nfsunlimited... but i think it would be better off as a month ender competition...
a suggestion on the next competition...
i guess 1 week of voting is too much... i think almost all active users have already voted at the 1st and 2nd days of the competition.. i think... i would be better of if it will be half the week or 5 days.. just a suggestion? its okey if itll be ignored.
Idea
Maybe creativity challenge?
Design a creative car, something that hasn't been done in Pro Street yet, try to be as original and innovative as can be!!
I think this would be a challenge to everyone and could give some great cars
The next competition will be a sponsored one with several prizes for the winners.
Additionally, due to demand, competitions will now have 1 week pause in between:
1 week entry time
1 week run time
1 week pause
