Re: Race Driver: Grid
I gave the demo a try, and all i can say is that i will definitely buy it when it comes out, it's alot of fun.

Re: Race Driver: Grid
I tried out the demo. Pretty much what I expected... Arcadey, but pretty fun.
I don't think I'd buy it. Gets boring after a while. And the engine sounds are just stupid. Sounds like one engine sound effect that's just been tweaked for each car. The replays are cool, though.

It's fun as hell, and the graphics are awesome.. but I gotta admit, some of y'all are right... the steering is way to sensitive.
If they add support for my 360 controller, I'll buy it.

Re: Race Driver: Grid
OK works great for me,my 360 controller works fine with this game as well, as long as u use the official 360 drivers. Way to sensitive with the XBCD360 drivers:(

Re: Race Driver: Grid
Wow, I tried to do some proper racing and I loved it lol. The AI behaves pretty damn good and the close racing is awesome. I recorded a video with Fraps but unfortunately the FPS hovers around 13. I'll try to do some proper compression and upload it.

what video editor you use? I know a nifty little trick that can make videos recorded at 15 fps look like they are recorded at 30-60PSZeTa wrote:Wow, I tried to do some proper racing and I loved it lol. I got 1 million today, but god...the steering is way too sensitive, its almost impossible to drift with all assists off without oversteering.

You are so right, it's easy to loose the car. I leave traction control ON, never tried with it turned off.Skyline_man wrote:Spinning ? loosing control of the car...thats what i meant.

Re: Race Driver: Grid
Is it just me, or the S15 should of been a bit more wider, even if you look from the front, the car looks a bit compressed with that large front bumper

Re: Race Driver: Grid
Its not just you, i think the game as a whole feels kinda like Juiced 2, which was a major failure imo.Danyutz wrote:Is it just me, or the S15 should of been a bit more wider, even if you look from the front, the car looks a bit compressed with that large front bumper
