Just want to talk? Come here.
Re: Just want to talk? Come here.
There's an alternate template available on the main site (you can switch it on if you visit this).
Let me know what you think about it and whether it should become the default template on the site.
Additionally there are plans for new templates - which two colours would you prefer?

Bogan is right, in most places you don't need a degree to start a business or open a shop, only thing you need is plans and money, and if you don't have that last part you need a bank that sees a future in your plans.
I got only my diplomas to be a driving instructor but I do have my own company, wich I did not need anything to start, sure I needed my diplomas to teach people how to drive, but starting the business itself is a diffirent story, If I was not qualified I could still open the business but I needed to hire people to do the driving for me.

I really like the new one you made over the old one. Blue + Orange = Best color combo. I say make the new one default.Bojan wrote:There's an alternate template available on the main site (you can switch it on if you visit this).

Re: Just want to talk? Come here.
Today while I was out driving my family around to eat and whatnot, I got a foot cramp I'm glad that I was just in the parking lot at the time because it's a real b***h to try to drive with.
However, there happened to be an unofficial car show at the local A&W, so I got a peek at the Mallett Solstice, Corvette Z06, Mustang GT California Special, and a countless number of old muscles including a beautifully kept Camaro SS.

Woot. I found my new guitar.
It happens to be a Gibson and it also happens to be a Les Paul edition.
Heritage Cherry with chrome equipment.

Re: Just want to talk? Come here.
lol digital?
I'm sorry, but that's a little lame. The digital sets never sound as good as the actual ones.
Something like this Pulse 8-piece set would pwn any digital set.

Re: Just want to talk? Come here.
Can't double on a single bass? rofl, quading is a bit much lol. I'm learning how to play quads and i'm pretty good lol requires crazy fast hands to play some marching band parts lol, and I thought I had it hard on Trombone lol

Re: Just want to talk? Come here.
You don't get it. You can still double on a single or a double bass. It doesn't matter which one. It still has 2 pedals. I was showing that as an example of a drum set that can easily show up a digital drum set.

Re: Just want to talk? Come here.
No, Too bad I do get it. I was just saying, why have the double bass drums if doubling can be done on a single? Take up space or just get it done easier? Nor was I even talking anything about the digital. Then I brought up what could actually be done on two basses which is quading, and said it was a bit much. So yeah, I wasn't going that deep into detail about a drumset, was just saying why the extra stuff.

Re: Just want to talk? Come here.
I could state a million reasons why digital is better, but here's only a few.
-I live in a condo (so I have to play at a reasonable volume or with headphones)
-I like to have a variety of kits
-Professional studio-quality samplers (like GigaStudio) are perfect for V-Drums
-Real kits are too big (space waster)
It's not "lame". Its like me saying "lol electric? I'm sorry but that's a little lame. Electric never sound as good as acoustic"
Now that's not true, is it? So apparently your Les Paul/whatever is lame. And I think you're "lame" because it doesn't look like you've ever tried V-Drums. (TD-20K preferably)
Sure, even I prefer real acoustic sounds to the shiznit module I have, but if I get something like GigaStudio then I'll be glad for life and I won't have to worry and be mad at myself once I get bored of a kit. There's over 4000 sounds in the module itself, which means I can create any kit I like.
And I don't see how it would be much better. Same amount of cymbals/toms/kicks... Anyways, for recording, V-Drums are a lot better because you can record through MIDI and correct any mistakes you make. You also get much better quality through recording right from the module than through a mike.
I don't see any advantages of acoustic for myself...

Re: Just want to talk? Come here.
No... I broke my freakin computer...
I'm gonna lose all my iTunes downloads now... why the FREAK didn't I back them up earlier?
Not to mention now I'm gonna have to buy a new hard drive, which mean's I'm gonna have to buy my PSU asap, because if I ever want ANY of my data back, (half the hard drive got formatted when I tried to reinstall windows... I didn't know if it was the data or the hard drive that was ****ed up, so I just tried to reinstall it,) I'm gonna have to have it, and another hard drive plugged in at the same time, along with my DVD drive, which my PSU doesn't have enough buff to power... !

Re: Just want to talk? Come here.
That calls for an ownd phrase. I have all my data backed up frequently to a spare hard drive. That way if anything goes wrong I don't have to worry about a situation like the one you're in right now.
Good luck to ya on getting that stuff back.

Re: Just want to talk? Come here.
I like how Jop didn't respond to Stereo. I think that calls for an ownd phrase.
Re: Just want to talk? Come here.
Yeah, I've noticed Jop does that pretty often.
Re: Just want to talk? Come here.
It's called not wanting to argue.
I have my opinions and he has his so I'll leave it at that. It's better than you having to scroll through long posts is it not?

Haha, that is total BS. You get an A for effort, though. :3
