Camera sd memory card help

ok,,before anyone complains lol, ive looked on google 4 this and i cant find it
I was taking fotos of my car and other things 2day, and when i was done i took the batteries out of the camera 4 the drive home, becuase if i leave them in the camera still wastes them.
When i got back home and connected it 2 the comp 2 take the pics off it said theres an error with the card and i need 2 format it. And now even after its been formatted it says the same thing, that theres an error and it needs 2 b formatted..no matter what i do it keeps coming back 2 this screen
does anyone kno wat it could b? n how 2 fix it?

Not really sure what you can do to fix it, but if you formatted it, you lost all your pics. :|

yeah i know but im more worried about just losing the memory card all 2gether, because this ones 4gb n my other ones only 64mb...and i cbf buying another one lol
