Re: !~~Show off your sig~~!
Well, seeing what you had to work with it's decent, but that's not really what you would call an idea render...

Re: !~~Show off your sig~~!
That's not a render to be honest.
A render is saved in a .png format on a transparent background. With that you have to cut it out still. But it does give me an idea.

Lol, laptop's LCD made it look like there wasn't a background...Jopuma wrote:That's not a render to be honest.

@ Sizzle: I really really like the third one

Re: !~~Show off your sig~~!
I know it looks n00b-ish, but it was another experiment sig...
I actually made it to be my sig, since I'm sick of this lame a** Grid sig, but it seems as if we still can't change our sigs... >.<*

Re: !~~Show off your sig~~!
I got a new one in mind. If the CTC goes ahead, I need something fitting. I'll link it to the CTC page, have the challenge, CTC bar, and then maybe just a pic of a car.
Re: !~~Show off your sig~~!
callie. timmy. called
*sig deleted for being too big. limits are 550x120px & 50kb*
Re: !~~Show off your sig~~!
Your CTC questions have been answered. I have the image, link and coding sorted, but I can't edit my sig >_<. I need it as a link to the comp page.

It's not perfect, there were a few PS glitches actually, but couldn't be bothered.
edit... transparent backgrounds aren't working!
edit... I have to save it as a .png, but it's too big.
edit... what do I save it as so it's on tinypic?

There should be a drop down box in the panel, use it to select the png-8 format...

Re: !~~Show off your sig~~!
.PNG-8 transparency is only as good as .GIF transparency. A pixel is either opaque or it isn't; there's no in-between, like a .PNG.

Re: !~~Show off your sig~~!
True, but it's the only way to keep a decent sized png image under the 50kb limit.xHaZxMaTx wrote:.PNG-8 transparency is only as good as .GIF transparency. A pixel is either opaque or it isn't; there's no in-between, like a .PNG.

Re: !~~Show off your sig~~!
There's another option that works brilliantly. Don't use a 18-wheeler sized sig and save it as a transparent .png. Saving an image that's smaller with transparency would be much smaller and have the high quality of png-24.

Re: !~~Show off your sig~~!
Could someone resize these sigs to under 50kB? Any comments on which is better would be appreciated, too.

And no, I didn't make them myself; they are just portions of abstract wallpapers I cut out.

Re: !~~Show off your sig~~!
What about those sparkles in the top right? And the city-ish background next to the girl's arm, or is that part of the render?
Just wondering, not criticizing.
