Heres my ride.
Its a 1996 Honda Prelude SI VTEC 4th Generation.

Engine:

H22A1 2.2L DOHC VTEC with an unknown brand of extractors that came with the car and a full Simota cold air intake. Exhaust fully modified. Timing advanced slightly from factory.

Exhaust:

Generally 2.25" after the downpipe. One straight through factory resonator, 2 aftermarket straight through mufflers and a NISMO Calasonic muffler with the main straight though chamber fitted with a manifold vacuum operated valve to meet the new strict exhaust laws currently being enforced without sacrificing much power.

Suspension:

Factory Honda double wishbone type with aftermarket Cobra performance springs.

Wheels/Tires:

16" TSW Volcanoes on 205/50/R16 Goodyear Eagle F1s

Exterior:

Simple front lip and side skirt combination. JDM Black Backed headlights. Optional bumps and bruises.

Sounds:

Pioneer headunit, Kenwood 6.5's in the front, Pioneer 460w 5-way 6x9's in the tray, Pioneer 1200w DVC 12" Subwoofer ran by 760w 2-channel Pioneer amplifier.

Performance:

200whp. Ran a 14.8 second 1/4 mile on an airport (Crap traction) which I hope to better soon. Handles like an absolute dream for a $3000NZD FWD car.

On the way:
Looking for a H22A4 head/ cams and maybe intake manifold and throttle body.
Need a rear lip to keep the flow going.
A rear spoiler.
Mugen struts.
Carrozzeria DVD ROM, GPS, Tv unit coming soon.
A playstation or car PC.
A better smaller steering wheel.

If you want Turbo, please, please buy a different car. Prelude Turbo = deadly torque-steer and catastropic crashed.

Looks nice, but I can't say I like the red plastic stuff in the interior, makes it look rather cheap.

Thanks guys, the interior sure does take some getting used to.
At least I can revert the red back to black or something if I wan't to.

What do you reckon to going a bit lower, at least at the front?

Definitely needs a bit more of a drop. Also agree with Stig about the red plastic, but othwerwise looking sharp

It's changed quite a bit since I've last seen it. And it's looking great (especially the exterior ).

I do agree that the red on the inside would look better in black. Looks a bit n00bish...

I'm still somewhat dubious about the power output. 200hp at the crank, plus a CIA and exhaust, does not equal 200hp at the wheels. Not by a long shot.

no thatd be like 170-180 at the wheels maybe a little less. As for a Turbo I found a manifold but you got to do everything else.

Dang, the car is looking great! What the heck is that front lip and where can I get one? I thought I knew every kit in existance for 4th gens (though I have been MIA in the 'lude community lately). Looks like a modified Wings West lip. Anyways, looks good! And if those numbers are accurate, they're pretty impressive! Keep it up.

Oh, and what spoiler are you considering? Don't ruin it! I think the stock spoiler looks and flows the best (besides maybe a Mugen spoiler, but good luck finding one of those bad boys).

Thanks I'm pretty sure the kit is only produced in New Zealand, Christchurch or something, have to say I'm really happy with it, I get a lot of comments on my car now. I'm sure you will tell me the spoiler is stupid haha, similar to Type-R Tegs. I'm just painting it now for a test fit.

I'm serious about it being dyno'd at 200whp, putting it around Type-s, Euro R spec which are 220fhp standard. I know my car easily beats Euro-Rs, theres no Type-S around here to compare though. The dyno might read a bit high but I'm confident its producing around 215-220fhp due to my kill list which has even surprised me.

Thanks for the interest guys, my turbo dream is getting closer, my only real want for the turbo is for the drag strip.

You can't base a power figure on "kill claims". Real figure from a dyno is the only one that holds weight

Plus you have to make sure its a good dyno. Dyno figures are, more often than not, massaged to make the ego of the owner feel better.

That's no the dyno's fault, that's the company who owns it. I advise against getting a car dyno'd at the same shop as you have the work done. Take it elsewhere and get the mapping sorted there- otherwise your engine builder/modifier can massage the dyno reading so it appears that his work has been more successful than it perhaps really has.
