Actually, if what I heard is correct, part of the experiment is to create black holes so that they can be studied but have them small enough that they will dissappear soon after (according to my physics teacher, who has been wrong before).

No, it's to be able to detect sub-sub-sub atomic particles, maybe discover dark matter, the god particle... just further investigating atomic structure and what makes up the world. Black holes are a possible by-product... but then they are weak ones.

But If there is a big black hole that sucks us all in... would we know? lol. Like, if everything followed, wouldn't we just get shifted? I might hit the wikipedia...

I know what the main purposes of the project are, but I was just suggesting another possible intent of the experiment that my teacher talked about.

But no, I don't think we would realize what happened. If something like that were to occur, it would be within a fraction of a second.

Well my dad's car is out of commission but when he and I fix it he's going to get a new car and that one will be mine.

It's an 87 Corolla with that beautiful 4AGE engine that lots of AE86 owners swap out the standard 4AG one for. It's got a cracked head gasket so water is leaking into the piston cylinder. So we're gonna buy an engine lift and yank it out so we can tear it apart, clean it up, and fix all the problems with it. Then we'll just drop it back in and I get the keys.

And VRAAAR I'll have a 16 valve twin-cam monster to go places with.

Not until you crank up the appearance. Seriously an AE86 looks like shyte before a good coat of paint, some body mods, and rims are put on it.

Jop's got a good point, the same can be said even with cars like the 240.

A buddy of mine down the street has a 240SX and when he first purchased it, the stock kit + rims + dirty pale blue paint job made it look terrible. But he got a new set of rims, added a subtle bodykit (he also removed the stock spoiler) and painted it white with a black top and it looks amazingly clean now.

On an AE86, there are a number of reasons why you might spend money to restore it and do it up.
- It's a good car (good balance, RWD etc)
- It has good performace potential
- It has fame and history
- If you look after it, it will continue to go up in value

However on your Corolla, it's not worth it. At all.
Just overhaul the motor to stock specs, keep the car in good, roadworthy condition and be done.
