Nice, t3ice. That is indeed a LP640.

I'd have to agree with you. I remember building a 1/24 scale model of that car when I was in elementary school and I was in love with it. So I was really excited to see one in person. Supposedly there's a shop in Santa Cruz (the city I stayed in for the weekend) that imports 959s and legalizes them. Don't know any details - just what a friend told me.

Here's your LP640 Roadster, Koenigsegg_Rox. Lighting wasn't very ideal in the showroom... The color is awesome in person.

I think I saw the same one at a car show... But those photos are on my stolen laptop. :(

Oh yeah! I thought this was neat. Did you know the Veyron has two exhaust pipes coming from the diffuser?

Ty Z260....very, very nice. That 959 looks pretty sweet as well. Although what Stig said is probably true, From reading Top Gear Aus apparently it cost's half a mill to convert a Shelby GT500 to RHD..... You could buy a couple of (much more worth it) GT-Rs with that.

Which Shelby GT500, new or old? If new, what, they don't sell '06+ Mustangs in Aus? If they do sell them there, then why can't you swap on the bodykit, engine, exhaust, suspension, and rims? If not, then lol, read my comment about how Mustangs are the equivalent of Commodores (for you) for me, and I consider Pontiac G8's fairly interesting now (the "new" US equivalent of VE Commodores) - and then understand that if I got a Pontiac GTO I'd probably try to have the badging and stuff converted to Holden Monaro CV8 badging.

Google maps is amazing... I found the Street View locations of the exotic car dealerships I visited.

Go to: http://maps.google.com/maps and enter these addresses and click street view:
66 E Main St, Los Gatos, CA 95030
618 Blossom Hill Rd, Los Gatos, Santa Clara, California 95032, United States

Could probably do this with a bunch of cool dealerships. Anyways, just something to do if you're bored! :P

@RCD:

The new GT500 I'm talking about. However from what I've seen the only Mustangs sold around here are used Fastbacks. Haven't seen ANY new Mustangs, not even at motor shows. And I did read your comment btw

Lucky. Mustangs, here, are as, if not more, common as Civics and Camrys. :P Even the more special editions (Shelby GTs, GT500s, Roush, California Editions, etc.) aren't common, per se, but they're not really uncommon.

I've only seen two GT500s and three Saleen Mustangs; one GT500 was in California and all three Saleens were either on the way to California or while I was there. (I live in Arizona.) I've seen a Roush Mustang only once, which was recently so I'm gonna add it to my "recent dump".

Recent dump:

Roush Mustang
more Mustangs that basically aren't worth mentioning
yellow Evo VIII
two new Challengers
the same blue Z32
Audi RS4
Mercedes C63 AMG
TOO MANY BMWs
TOO MANY LEXUSes
a black Pontiac Fiero

Heh, I think Roush are the most common of the special Mustangs. There are two within 5-minute's walking distance of my house. :P

I live in Montmorecy (a relatively peaceful suburb with no cool stuff except graffiti)

I go to a PRIVATE SCHOOL in Ivanhoe, which is a rich school with rich kids who live in rich houses in rich suburbs...
:D

Anyways, I've been away on school camp for a while, but I saw a C63 AMG yesterday...

Driving by The Broadmoor, a 5-star hotel/resort I live near, obviously I will eventually see a cool car sooner or later, today was it. I saw a Ford Model T and a Ford GT behind it. It was pretty cool to see one of the first cars of Ford then to see a supercar right behind it.

*bump*

From what I've seen/heard tonight, I can't wait to go to our annual Legend of The Lakes Hillclimb tomorrow. Tonight I saw a Saleen S302  and my god for an American car that is pure smexy...I like the green too. Apparently word on the grapevine is one of the entrants is taking a Rally Raid car in (for those that don't know, think Paris-Dakar), not to mention two tuned Evo IXs, a Lancia Stratos, an NSX-R, and a handful of Porsches and tuned Rexes. Oh, and the carryover champ is rolling a 350-Chev-toting, fully stripped out 280Z...I'll take some piccies tomorrow and put em up.

EDIT:

OK there were a couple of probs:

- The Lancia Stratos and NSX-R weren't there this year
- The dude in the Rally Raid didn't race
- My G800 suddenly decided to be a stereotypical Samsung and have a short battery life, just as the (thought-it-was-an-S302) S281 came around the chicane....

However, there were some good things. For example, the sheer number of cars. there were at least 110 cars there, new and old, there were Godzillas, TA22s, XY Falcon GTs, a Valiant Charger R/T, a few (surprisingly fast as heck) Minis, Jaguars, a few MX5's (including one converted into a "speedster" style car), Datto 510s, a Mitsu Evo X MR 8) , about 10 or so Porsche's (including a 996 GT2, 944s, and a few old skool 911s), A fully tricked out, faster than you think Mitsu Mirage, an Elise, about 5 or 6 Elfins, 10 WRX STis, 7 or 8 Evo IXs, Civics...the list goes on...Oh and two Beetles that obliterated most of what I just mentioned....

My current coolest car that I've seen gotta be this Metallic Red Nissan GT-R.

There have been a sudden boost of GT-Rs here in Singapore. I literally see more GT-Rs than Evo IX here. But not so with Evo X. Maybe the GT-Rs here are way cheaper that lamborghini owners are also getting GT-Rs to play along with other GT-Rs.

It's so overgrowing that there's one at the industrial estate across the road where I'm living. It belongs to a furniture import and export company's boss. Been TRYING to get a ride in that one. the owner seems friendly. but we'll see how.

and saw a brownish GT-R, owner stopped to buy cigarette and get in back and drove away.

hmmm, from what I can see, that car has had the rims changed, a light(not sure if it's stock or not) on the front bumper, what looks like a custon paintjob, and a few stickers. Looks like warranty-void to me...

Anyways, I saw a nice CL500 yesterday, silver.
Also, saw;
RS4
RS6 avant'
M3 Convertible
Rolls-Royce dealership
Aston-Martin dealership
Lamborghini dealership

I didn't even know there was a Rolls-Royce or Lamborghini dealership in Melbourne...

coolest car that I've seen in person (in my opinion) was an Audi R8. its such a cool feeling when you see exclusive cars like that up close and personal : )

its kind of a funny story tho. I was driving back to school and I was pulling into an intersection where across the way was a lotus elise, my focus on the elise made me get in the wrong lane at the intersection so I had to pull back around through a parking lot and thats where I saw the R8. rather good luck for one day lol

And a Camaro SS. The first one I've ever seen.

Ooh! RS6!! I can't wait for pictures!! :D

Anyways, I saw this V8 Vantage 2 weeks ago in the morning while on my way to school.. The engine noise it made was unforgettable. V8 grunt was fierce! :D

Now, I have to disclose that there're not many Aston Martin owners in Singapore, let alone the V8 Vantage. It's usually the Ferraris and Lambos. So this was quite rare.

Sorry for the quality though.. I was in a hurry 'cuz I didn't want the owner to see me taking picture. I wanted to take it from the front, but the owner was in the car. So I just went to take it from the back. :)
