The only two surprises there are the Shelby GT500KR and the Volkswagen Scirocco. I hope there's a normal Shelby GT500 in the game as well. It sucks that the Toyota Corolla AE86 didn't make it :(. Hopefully there's more cars.

Thanks for the info.

I can't imagine that's the full list.

There is no Nissan 350Z/370Z
No Subaru in the list? that's just plain weird, there has been a Impreza in NFS since Underground.

I got the weird feeling there is more missing then just these 2.

I thought I read somewhere that Jaguar will be in the game also (Jag XK?)
I wouldn't be suprised if the Audi S3, Caddilac CTS-V, Chevrolet Cobalt SS, Mercedes SL65 AMG will make it to the game also.

I really hope the Supra isn't the only Toyota in the game, I would really like to see the Celica back, but then I would probably be the only one.

I think the Caddilac CTS-V can be seen in the list in one of the screenshots posted earlier by vZv. I really hope there are some Acuras and Hondas in Undercover; Most Wanted and Carbon didn't have any but Underground and ProStreet did. I hope the cop element wasn't the reason.

You're not alone in wanting the Toyota Celica back. I would like to see it back as well; I've missed it since Underground 2.

If EA can pull of making every car feel different while still being able to pull of those maneuvers, it'll be great. Somehow I feel like most cars will feel similar, defeating the purpose of driving a Bugatti over a Mazda 3.

But I'm excited about a few features. Analog tachometer! And style points from Underground 2!

i still think underground 2 was way more realistic in terms of handling and drifting. Atleast with a wheel.

Yeah, I want the Hachi-Roku in the game! Glad the S15's in there though, I'll definitely be buying that.

Hope this game will miss typical car tiers like those from Carbon or PoorStreet...

OK, so I went for the X08 held today in Singapore and got to the NFS Undercover booth right away.

I'm happy to say that the McLaren F1 will be indeed part of the game. Couldn't see much of the game today 'cuz today was a really packed day. But I doubt none of you would be left out anyway 'cuz much of the modes have been pretty much revealed here. :)

Here's the picture proof taken from my phone cam of the McLaren in the Sprint challenge:

If you have tried out sprint mode, can you tell me how much racers take race with you, I meant max amount of AI racers in sprint, it's 3 or more ???

If I could recall, it was about 5 or 6 AI's involved in the Sprint. But this is just the demo. It could be different in the actual thing. :)

I'm broken.

So they've reverted the car handling back to 'Most Wanted' style? That's rubbish.
Anyone who's played ProStreet on a proper wheel and pedal set up would realise ProStreet made great with car racing dynamics. Albeit not completely realistic, it was real enough.
I've been longing for that kind of handling in the Need For Speed series. Just hope it's still somewhere in there in Undercover. Perhaps as an option for hard core racing-wheel drivers. Nothing would bring more joy to me that driving a proper racing sim game with the action of fleeing from cops.
It'll be simulating something which I wouldn't be doing in real life.

Curse you EA.

You can bet the handling is no where near prostreet's at all.

I got a feeling the next 2 cars are the 08 BMW M3 and 08 Shelby GT500

Specs are not completely ''E92 M3-ish'', especially torque. I'm thinking 08 Challenger SRT8.

I'm pretty sure that there won't be an AE86 in the game mainly because there is not a big emphasis on drifting in this game, which the AE86 is all about. Undercover is based on police chases which the AE86 will suck at.

Just noticed they've kept the crappy tier parts system , if i've got the money for the parts I want to buy them without unlocking them, it's not a fun system anymore, maybe in the late 90's but not now. Also i'm guessing with EA that there will be the best racing effect ever used in gaming which is the rubberband :D I can't tell you how much I love it :D (extreme sarcasm)

The Tier system didn't bother me in ProStreet, cause you where able to race any car you wanted anyway, and win races with your starter car etc. I think the whole Tier system in PS was just to show abit how fast a car is, that's all.

In Carbon it was done very poorly, cars that didn't fit the tier, and you basicly weren't able to beat a tier 2 car with a fully tuned tier 1 car etc, and that combined with alot of cars falling in the wrong tier, made it very annoying.

If I would EA, I would eliminate whole tier system...

P.S. By the way EA, surprisingly to me, remowed my post on their forums where I sayed that their tier system is crap :x ...

Cars class systems aren't all bad, as long as your car can be upgraded and get into higher classes.

and about the deletion of a post, maybe you didn't just say it was crap

Maybe I do, maybe I don't.

I do know why moderators delete stuff, and in general it's not because you say something is stupid or crap.
In general it's because of illegal content or the use of inappropriate words, or because of personal attacks against other members or the staff.
In case you didn't notice I know this because I am a admin on this site and deal with stuff like this for a while now

Forza 2 for the win. 8) It just makes it more realistic, because if you took a very high end Tier 1 car and upgraded it up a bit, then it wouldn't be insane for it to classified as a Tier 2 vehicle.
