Word. My dad has a 2005 Chevy Silverado Z71 with a California Concepts kit. Whenever it rains, I'll offer to go run errands in it... And by run errands, I mean find some monstrous puddles to run through.

And that's the cockpit... :D

Seriously though...
Dad's ride : '02 TJ Magna... his is a bit diff, diff wheels and spoiler. Same colour.

And I get mum's sometimes (It's in black though):

They're ok to drive, are comfy, can be chucked around and actually have enough grunt... but still can't wait till I get a GTR.

The 318ti doesn't have a turbo ;). It's the same 139bhp N/A engine as the 318iS, just in compact form.

AWD Impreza or liberty... not necessarily the top spec... or a forester? Subies are all nice, safe and reliable 4WD rides. Depends if you need the height and space or not depending on the pick.

Impreza is a good bet, just don't go driving it like you stole it because the moment they hit the limit they're nigh-on uncontrollable.
Audi Coupé Quattro? Similar car but a great drive. A little understeer-y when standard but a few itsy bitsy suspention mods and they handle fantastically. S2 quattro is particularly a treat, and the RS2 replica coupés and genuine avants are also very very special.

Since when is a truck a safe alternative? specificly the US RWD trucks, they're high, heavy and rwd....

anything awd with relatively low power will do fine, but then any car can be a option as long as you don't drive like steelsnake said... like you stole it.
Cause the driving style is what is the major reason for safe or unsafe driving.

AWD FTW if you get snow. Yeah, I thought you meant our "trucks" like those massive off road 4X4s.

Well, this isn't really me, but my dad just got a Honda Legend, and IMO it is pretty luxurius for a Honda. (that means that I really really really like it) That also means that my mum will also be getting a new car soon, as we always replace both our cars.
oh snap

We just bought one of these today! :D. It will be delivered to us next wednesday. It's a pretty awesome A3, and it's also a demo model with heaps of extras for a good price (including the 2.0 litre turbo engine) because it already has 4,000kms on the clock. Great fun to drive in sports mode (using paddlepops)... I won't be able to sleep till then :P.
