I don't want EA to make Underground 3. Hot Pursuit 2 didn't have customisation and it was still fun, so why can't they just make a newer version or similar?

Re: Post Undercover - NFS Underground 3?
Yes I hope they do an Underground 3, but add in Pro Street's smoke/damage effects and Undercover's police cars. Eh, even something that sounds so simple would probably somehow get messed up by EA. I'll settle for a remake like Underground 2 HD.
Edit: Also I hope they take notes from MC:LA and populate the NFS world with a lot more traffic and pedestrians.

Re: Post Undercover - NFS Underground 3?
Because that would require them to rewrite a whole new engine and why do that when you can keep using the one from Most Wanted for free???powerof1000 wrote:I don't want EA to make Underground 3. Expect rehashes of the same game for a while. Free roam and customization.

Difference is that this time they will have 2 years to develop a new game and NOT to screw stuff again.
Hope to return to NFS2 or NFS High Stakes line

Imo these were THE BEST racing games of their timz. Most of the peeps on this forum havent played them and think MW or HP2 are good :/
Re: Post Undercover - NFS Underground 3?
Yes... because damage would make Carbon such a better game... It's still MW + UndergroundAndre_online wrote:But Carbon doesn't have damage sadly (with the exception of the police squad)..

MW and HP2 are "good" and not great.

Re: Post Undercover - NFS Underground 3?
i wish they would just fix the framerate, give us good cars and bks, and maybe have more than one city and there are freeways connecting them (and i mean SEPARATE cities, not the tricity bay area bs) where you can have insane drag races. also, make it at night because u know how the shadows move and are really weird in UC? well, at night you don't have shadows, so it would look more realistic bcuz no weird moving shadows and sun!
i hope since they have a full 24-month development cycle on this one that they will fix the framerate, but knowing EA's fail-happy tendencies, it's hard not 2 be cynical.
this formally ends my long-winded post which would have been better-said and easier to read if it had been 3 different ones.

Re: Post Undercover - NFS Underground 3?
I agree. I actually loved the first Underground the best out of all of the new NFS games. It was waaaay better than any other one. (Most Wanted although came pretty close) I don't know what it was, but I think it was the city, soundtrack, car choice... The story was short, and I didn't get why Samantha was pissed but the game was the best evar.Andre_online wrote:I'd like to see Eddie, Melissa and Samantha return to the series. They were such worthy opponents.
HP3 ftw. I'd love to see the red canyon track again (from High Stakes) or whatever it was called. Me and my friend used to play that so much on split screen. I drove a DeLorean.
Speaking abot DeLoreans, we should have the custom cars back again, just like HP2 and HS. People could make their own cars without worrying about having to crack the game like hell and edit hex.
.viv ftw.
Re: Post Undercover - NFS Underground 3?
underground 3 with only closed tracks and driving physics like the old games...
insta-buy! (assuming they get rid of the same old fugly kits/spoilers etc)
i want a nice drift mode again.. its fun

Re: Post Undercover - NFS Underground 3?
Ofcourse they where the best, I especially liked High Stakes, but MW is still awesome, HP2 isn't that good as them but much, much better than Carbon/PoorStreet/Undercover...t3ice wrote:

Re: Post Undercover - NFS Underground 3?
maybe there would be nfs underground3 but i think.its less possible
Re: Post Undercover - NFS Underground 3?
Considering how they pulled off Undercover, I dont think a numbered sequel title is on the horizon.

Re: Post Undercover - NFS Underground 3?
I have a feeling EA is gonna pull off another Undercover next year. Most likely an Undercover 2. God knows how the game would turn out like if it's really put into production.
Re: Post Undercover - NFS Underground 3?
Yeah, but I think it would have another unique one liner for a name.

Like what? Undercover 2: Code 4, kinda thing? Was that what you're trying to say?
Re: Post Undercover - NFS Underground 3?
code 4? lol NFS: 187
No no, like NFS: Against All Odds or something dumb. EA markets their games like movies. EPIC FAIL.

Re: Post Undercover - NFS Underground 3?
About EA here... They should stop doing this crappy games, or they should just create an Underground 3... Like a simple story like in UG1 and UG2, cars like in UC, GFX by PS and gameplay by MW... The best combo ever... But since EA has started to make only bad games (every time even worse), that won't be possible... Look at GRID, so awesome GFX, such a cool gameplay, overall an amazing game... And it doesn't need an 20000$ PC... I really, really, REALLY started to hate EA and their NFS's...
And I think that most of the ppl would agree with me here!

Re: Post Undercover - NFS Underground 3?
Huh? NFS doesn't need a $2000 PC... I run it on max @ 1080p and 6x AA on a $500 POS PC.
-Cheapest gigabyte mobo (no core 2 duo support, DDR667... mini ATX) (My old P4 one blew, and I had no cash then)
-2GB RAM
-9600GT
And that's with a fragmented HDD and 5 other programs active in the background.

You mean, $20000. At least that's what he said..baumaxx1 wrote:Huh? NFS doesn't need a $2000 PC...
I don't suppose you're running Undercover or ProStreet?
