Let me think... You can increase your acceleration because the valve dumps the pressure that stops the turbo spinning if you shift..Grez@Veilside_Supra_TT wrote:I know

Yep 
The back pressure created by the turbo is released by the blow off valve. Therefore the turbine spins quicker, spooling up quicker, cutting down turbo lag and increasing throttle response.
Plus, the HKS SSQ one Im getting is not only the best one on the market for the Supra, its a fluttering dump valve!!!!
