Re: Weirdest Food ever eaten?
I don't know about about the ink, but yeah, I would never try it, though.

You have to twist it on a chopstick in a special way so it just slides down without struggling. I think . . . saw it on TV once, so it must be right

Does it really make that much of a difference if the octopus is dead or alive? I'll take mine dead thanks with a bit of chilly marinade and i'm set.

Octopus. It tasted good though.
I've also eaten turkey hearts and pork liver. The liver tasted okay but the hearts... yuck.

Once i ate Chips, Cheese and melted chocolate in a sandwich, it was tasty at the begining but later, it became so bad, I ended up in the bathroom throwing up for 2 hours, i will try it again sometime!

For me, the wierdest thing would have to be raw fish (aka sushi). I don't know how people can stomach that stuff. Cooked or steamed sushi I can handle, but the raw fish is... yuck...

Yumm! Raw salmon is the best! I can't not avoid that when I'm eating at a Japanese restaurant. Hi-5 Ken!!prince1142003 wrote:For me, the wierdest thing would have to be raw fish (aka sushi). They have tuna sushi? I might actually try that some time...
As for most sushi, I personally can't stomach it.

Does it even taste anything like cooked tuna? Like, does it taste like it but have a different texture, or, what?

Re: Weirdest Food ever eaten?
I'd have to say it's completely different. The flavour is much nicer and feels more refreshing, and it doesn't need any seasoning to go with it. Just a bit of soy sauce and wasabi. The texture is very smooth and kinda melts in your mouth, rather than breaking into small pieces like cooked fish.Carcrazy wrote:Does it even taste anything like cooked tuna? Hard to explain but it's just so much better.
btw don't even mention canned tuna, that stuff is like wet cardboard.
