Re: What car do you drive ?
Of course the S5 owns the 325. It's got about twice as much power. And costs almost twice as much.
The 3.0 Audi diesel is very rattley and nowhere near as good as the BMW 3.0 Diesel. It's also much nose-heavier and nowhere near as responsive.
Modern Mercedes have been a total let-down. Poor reliability, and finish you'd expect on a Citroën.
Audi = Fantastic interior quality, great styling and pretty good handling, great smaller and larger engines, mid-range diesels a bit of a let-down.
BMW = Controversial styling, incredible feel and handling, brilliant petrol and diesel englines.
Merceres = Comfortable, dull, understyled, badly built, good larger engines, dull but reliable diesels

Disagree. They may have screwed up with the 7-series, but I'm truly loving the 3-series' cabriolet designs, especially the E92 M3 (although my money will go to the M6 purely for its power).Striker94 wrote:No offence, but the way B<Ws have looked recently.
Mercedes first, and BMW second and Audi third for me. Of course the S5 owns the 325. The same can't be said about the M3 though. Definitely faster than the S5. Re: What car do you drive ?
i dont think i have to say anything to back my car up since andre and steelsnake already have. but yah ur comparing cars that would attack m3's to my m328i. benz is falling to the floor my old benz i gave my brother. they wont fix his car cause its been came to there shop twice in a short amount of time. so i say benz service has just gave up on us. and there cars just go all over on the road. audi now is a great car with great handling but i just love how reliable a bmw is with great support. I had a old 2001 525 and the deference between that and my new 328i is amazing the seats are actually confy. power is still the same always on ur fingertips, and easy to handle at any speeds i gone to 140-145 with no struggle and didnt even budge. so yah thats why i bought the car haha

Re: What car do you drive ?
03 Model where? if it's the Euro '03 model it's the MKV which is a good car, but if it's the US model it's still a MkIV which is not so good..... not a horrible car but rather gutless compared to the V or other hot hatches of that time.

The MK5 GTI didn't come out til 2005. The 03 year is the MK4 and that's a bit tame.

Re: What car do you drive ?
I was thinking something was off. The US normally gets VW's Euro cars a year after Europe, and the MKV came in the latter half of 2006.steelsnake00 wrote:The MK5 GTI didn't come out til 2005. The 03 year is the MK4 and that's a bit tame.
Re: What car do you drive ?
Not really a car, but still;
After a month of transportation issues from Adelaide, my new Kart finally arrived this morning! It’s a 2008 CRG Kalifornia, with a 26hp Parilla Leopard Engine (With a few extras, including lap timer, wet weather tyres and stand.). I’ve always wanted to get into motorsport, so I thought I’d start off with the basics. Got a lot of things to organize now… It definitely won’t be an easy task.

That is so awesome. I hate you
Re: What car do you drive ?
DO WANT.
I frequently go to karting tracks, which is a hobby that's gotten out of hand. Competed in small indoor competitions and won several.
Outdoor is retardly expensive though, maintenance as well. Do you have a karting suit + helmet?

Actually, the expenses of maintenance, club membership, spares, equipment etc, ends up a lot cheaper then what I was expecting it to be (especially when most of your gear is 2nd hand... which is what I'm doing.) Haven’t got a suit and helmet yet, but I live near a karting store which has some pretty neat driving gear in stock.PSZeTa wrote:I frequently go to karting tracks, which is a hobby that's gotten out of hand. As for hiring karts... they are great fun. But I always end up being involved in accidents caused by other people. Nearly broke a rib last time... which was pretty annoying.

The chassis number is NA, then either 6 or 8 depending on engine size. I also drive a rinse-mobile.

Re: What car do you drive ?
Out of the box, maybe. But the KA is a better engine than the CA will ever be, and most high powered KA-Ts are putting out better torque curves than SRs could dream of. There is truth in the logic 'there's no replacement for displacement'.Texhnolith wrote:
