NFSU2 is shaping up to be a really good game based on the info released so far.
and the addtion of the 3000GT (or GTO if youre them J-spec types) looks impressive. I wonder if they nixed the Eclispe for it though. (id be happy if they did)
My wonder is if theyre going to make any "favor" cars. For example, in NFSU the RX7 was the best car (by personal and other peoples opinion) and it basically owned. My wonder is if theyre going to balance it out a little among the cars? Kinda like initial D ver.2 where the integra was basically the "god car".
A funny thing to put in this game would be a AE86 Corolla (trueno) for the drift mode. I mean, with the becoming popular and all among drifters, it be pretty sick to have it in NFSU2, *they put a 240SX in the game, Hell even a damn hummer and escalade in the game. if they can do that, they can put a 20 year old clunker in the game too.*

who cares if the g35 is in it, if u dont like it, dont buy the game, neways, i found some pics, i dont know if they are new or old but it said they were released today so, here they are......

hey dude, just so you know, they actually have included an AE86 in the game, i saw it in the trailer, its the red car flying towards the camera at the start, and it also shows Corolla in the end credit thingy.... im pretty happy about it too

I adore those cars. I only bought my current car because the 3000GTs for sale at that time were all knackered. If Id have found a good quality one, thats what Id be driving now. Although at that time, I didnt know to the full extent the potential of Supras.

i've always loved Supras, one of my friends owns one, i think its rated the fastest in Australia... at Melbourne Auto Salon it put out 574 rwkw on dyno comp, came second place, first place was awarded to my other friend who owns an R33 GT-R which did 617 rwkw

I wouldnt trade my Supra for one now, no way.

If my Supra were still stock and I had no intentions of modifying it, then Id consider trading it for a 3000GT, purely because Ive always wanted one but never been in one.

If I remeber correctly,I saw in some magazine, in a VeilSide ad, there was a G35 bodykit. But I've never seen one on the road.

not really... Peter Blach got a 1100 rwhp Supra, lol.

And there is a guy building a Supra with the HUGE Y2K 88mm turbo.. it starts building spool at 6000 RPMG AND ITS AT FULL SPOOL AT 7000 RPM!!!!!
(if anyone dont know that turbo, then sod off, that turbo is enourmous...

going back to the topic

what I hope for nfs:ug2

-better modeled rims + more brands
-better selections of mufflers... ROUND ONES!!
-better rim/muffler colors.. chrome and polished!! NOT GREEN ONES!
-more realistic colors... honestly, the colors in NFS:UG looked bad!
-more real performance... i mean a rx7 being faster then Supra.... The 2jz-gte is the best engine in the game... none else is that fast as the 2jz-gte.. Nothing agianst the Rx7 but rotary engine blows up very fast... the 2jz-gte is extremely strong.
-turbo choice from size, not levels... like choice from 45-88mm turbos, and that a small engine cars would not be able to spool a 88mm turbo...
-gear ratio modification
-buying PARTS, NOT levels!
-more textures on cars! the headlights in NFS:UG1 looked aweful on most cars...
-less extreme bodykits!! chill out, make them less extreme

Most of the bodykits in NFS:UG1 are PATETIC AND PURELY UGLY!!! They are worse then the most bodykits ive seen on civics!!!

And why are there no blinkers on the upgraded bodykits

making certain cars into softops would be cool if EA dont put them in im not buying it and ill telling other people not to buy it. and if EA dont make chracters besides the one brooke burke is playing, like your own chracter and being able to get out of your car or what are the doors for. if they dont im not buying it, and i know my comment is a little lengthy

I used the Geforce 4200 ti when i had my computer working.. And it didnt look very good
On my new comp im using the Geforce FX5900 ill see then...
just gotta wait for my new comp to arrive

yes, 700 hp is very much, hehe. But its not the most you can get...
But in NFS:UG1 the performance was odd.. The Supra in that game would have around 1000 hp but you did hardly smoke your tyres.. very odd if you ask me! And since its streetrace the tyres would break loose more easily then on the drag strip... Ive seen a Supra burn its tyres down the whole 1/4 mile!!!

I really missed cops and daytime racing in NFS:UG
+More realistic turbo spool wouldnt hurt EA

And The Supra is THE drag car!! It should have been the fastest car in the game!! I was like WHAT when i went online and raced the freaking RX-7

and i mean a car game that censors "cars" in the chat, hahaha

The reason the in game Supra is slow is simple. EA is american. Therefore, it makes sense to put US spec cars into the game. The US spec is very similar to the UK spec with regards to power and performance. The japanese spec Supra however is the most powerful one, and by far the fastest.

700bhp is quite common place for Supra tuners. Its the furthest you can push it before you really have to touch the internals. Of course, If I was running that much power, my internals would have been forged long before I was making 500bhp.

Dont underestimate the RX7. The Supra and the RX7 are the two major opponents in Japanese sports coupes, there is a good reason for that. Put a 20b engine into a 7 and many Supras will have a hard time keeping up.

As for that turbo, thats ridiculous

But I wouldnt want a turbo that took until 6k rpm to spool up, its impracticle on the road. And you cant guess the power output its making. You dont know what boost its running for a start. Turbos may come with a rating of '600bhp' for example, but youre not going to be making that power until you crank the boost up.

I know that turbo will make alot of power because a guy in sweden has the same turbo and he makes 1100 hp.... + he has a 200 shot of nos

"The onyl place where I can dyno the car is not really willing to dyno my car as he has fear to blow up his dyno...I will have to convince him.
Another option would be to ship the car to the USA for few weeks...maybe for the Vegas meeting...but I have to think at it!"

Supraholic: I have GeForce TI 4200 as well... I am a little color blind, but I didn't have any problems with the colors, and my rims were definitely chrome. No one that saw the game on my PC, or the screenshots, complained about the colors. The only thing that bothers me, is the motion blur, but that's a different story...

And im sure that the Rx7 gives the Supra a good run at the circuit/drift... But not in drag... Atleast not from what ive seen at the drag strip in the US! The Street tire Supras does 8.3-8.4 @ 160-170 mph at the 1/4 mile.. I havnt seen any Rx-7 that are close

anyway i wasnt talking about stealing cars.

but one thing i was thinking about is if your car totalled , a tow truck will pick it up and fix it for money. Interesting idea anyone?
