What tracks would you like to see in NFS Shift?

I wasnt talking about long tracks in general, I was just talking about the real long one in germany thats really narrow.XCROSSX wrote:I actually think it would be really nice to have really LONG tracks. Nordshleiffe would be great fun with the NFS style handling, I find GT4 handling a bit sub par on that track (and in general!).
Maybe a homage to the classic tracks that made NFS as a bonus would be cool, like Atlantica from NFS3 HP some of the ones from NFS2 and 6 as well, plus you can't forget NFS7's version of Atlantica too
As for real world, as long as Willow Springs rots in a dirty corner of Hell I don't mind about most others

The track you are talking about is the Nurburgring. Since I live in the UAE, it would be good if they included the Dubai Autodrome circuit, and maybe even the Yas Marina Circuit from the F1 courses which if you should know, is the final track of the F1 season.

Re: What tracks would you like to see in NFS Shift?
I wish they'd do something similar to PGR4 where they had tracks in real-world cities (or even slight alterations of real-world cities).

Re: What tracks would you like to see in NFS Shift?
I believe they are doing that. I think they said "fictional tracks in real world cities". I think they mentioned London.
EDIT: Yeah, Jesse Abney mentioned this in the exclusive Q&A.

So, different layouts... But they haven't mentioned anything other than Tokyo and London.Jesse wrote:Slightly Mad's own track creations in London and Tokyo have a number different layouts.

You're right, but I hope they expand on it and not leave London as the only exception.

I'll second the vote for Daytona... after doing some practice laps in GT5 Prologue, it would be awesome to run it with the roster from NFS: SHIFT (like that million euro lambo?
~~~)
Re: What tracks would you like to see in NFS Shift?
Thank God! Infineon is not a good track!
But dammit all they went and put that 2.5 mile piece of crap called Willow Springs in there. I hate that track so much! So simple and so boring, with a stupid blind crest mid corner at the summit of the track! Pointless!
Glad to see Nordshlieffe in there though along with the London and Tokyo street tracks
Re: What tracks would you like to see in NFS Shift?
Theres Nurburgring and Spa so im happy lol.
Would be nice to get some tracks from older NFS series, such as those in HP2 which were really beautiful, but with modern graphics of course. Maybe on further games.
this is also because in MW any car upon max tuning gets 380+ max speed, 380 on light corners, acceleration 1-2 seconds to 100 km/h, you get far more unrealistic and easy physics, no damage, not really oversteer in RWD cars, overpowered nitrousFreelancerMar wrote:IF EA's math can be believed, NFSMW's World Loop is longer than the Nordschief (Nurburgring) which is currently only 13 miles if I am not mistaken. There are plenty of MW racers posting sub 6 minute times on 'World Loop' However that is also a different type of game with different physics.
Also if Rumors are to be believed SimBin is the one that has been devloping Shift. If and it is a big IF EA doesn't Fark it up (I am not holding my breath here) like EA usually does, Then we may actually get a decent 'NFS' titled racer. Hopefully it will 'LACK' The Evil Cheating rubberbanding ai catchup crap that's been with us since NFS6.(Im not holding my breath about that either) We will just have to wait and see what happens.
on a slightly longer track but not technical at all VS Nordschleife laps with all the braking , realistic(compared to MW FOR SURE) handling and realistic car specs....not 390 km/h with a golf gti
