Actually, I'm pretty sure that you couldn't get a Game Over. In order to race in a high stakes race (pink slips), you had to own at least 2 cars, so you'd have one left over if you lost. Correct me if I'm wrong.

Yeah! I agree with Dani too! I love the High Stakes money play, especially where the part, whe you lose the race, you'd have to forfeit your car... And when you win, he'll have to forfeit his car! :)

BTW here is something the owner of the Supra said:

"The onyl place where I can dyno the car is not really willing to dyno my car as he has fear to blow up his dyno...I will have to convince him.
The mans a fool. Mustang dyno's handle up to 1400bhp, thats why most people use them. Also, we have the 'Thor' racing one here which handles up to 1600bhp.

I hope it will be easier to put text on the car, so it is done in game and that you get to chose the color of your car more detailed, like you do in MS Paint.

he will be running the Y2K 88mm turbo + a 200 shot of nos... thats alot of hp.... But im not sure what kind of dyno that guy has.

Well, the 200 shot wont add 200bhp. I think he's just trying to be bigheaded about the power output, there are plenty of 'stang dynos all over the US.

Peepz, I just notice something... Take a look at this Mitsubishi's front and side window...

Someone mentioned seeing a AE86 Trueno in the trailer. If anyone can get a shot of it and post it on the board, It would be greatly appreciated.

The 3000GT looks to be a very good contender, but I have a feeling its going to average out between the skyline and the RSX. (In refrence to NFSU) Meaning the performance will be good, but the handling and overall feeling of the car is going to feel a little bit sluggish. dont bash me, this is just personal opinion. Heck I might be wrong.

A cool addtion would be the Lancer evo VII model instead of the VIII.
Everyone who tried to replicate the VII from 2F2F would actually be successful this time around.

Euuhhhm I believe the Evo in 2F2F was an VIII because the guy in the extra stuff on the DVD was telling like over and over how great Mitshu was for giving them an VIII before it was released to the public.

Or maybe I could be wrong.... In UG1, this damage also happens wehn we threw or bang our car during DRAG Racing. Remember?


P.S: That Mitsubishi headlights reminds me of Ferrari 550 Maranello!!

The Evo from the film itself was a VII. The one from the 'making of..' was an VIII.

That damage isn't any different from the damage in NFSU1... Unless some of the body work also get damage, I wouldn't call it real damage. But I'm getting used to GTA-styled damage, so I may have too high standards on this... :P

Yeah, and I don't count that as damage... It's just scratches... But it's better than nothing :)

It kinda doesn't make any sense! How can your car windshield be damaged when the rest of the car is in mint condition! Unless a truck went flying and landed on your windshield but I don't think that happened!

An ancient review (July 1st) with a Madrid -Spain- team. Click here to read it. Nothing new, but it includes 5 PS2 photos where you can see some in-game shots. It is difficult to know which is that blue car, due to screen distance. maybe a EVO??? I dont know those rearlights.
In addition you can see the in-game menu (restart race, exit.....)
