@URQ: thats your opinion about the neons and stuff, i respect that, i belive that neon in your pc wuld look silly, but in my case it sutes to my room and i dont have place to hide my pc so i dicided to make it look good. in day time neon is turned off andwhen i turn on other neons in my room i turn on a neon in my pc, so thats my stille, and i like it and no mater what you think or anyone else think about that... ;)

Sorry but I agree with Urquattro.
The best thing in Alienware, they are the special cases because (supossedly, I have no one) the air cooling system is very good. Look at the front of the case... In addition the look is awesome IMO. most of ppl who buy an Alienware PC do it due to the great cases, and this is why they don't sold their cases indepently (ppl would buy just them and no the whole PC).

The performance, it is the same you could get buying components by you yourself. Just find a good PC store which includes a big list of components and compare the prices.

well you can buy remakes of the cases at places...a store in downtown atl sells pimp cases and the alienware remakes, but you have to admit, how many times have we seen "plays best on alienware",No Crap!Of course it does.So i still believe ppl want the alienware because of the babge...most ppl that know of alienware dont care about the air flow...peace

EDIT-For those who dont know,my case mod is based on the original UT.hence the blue and gold colors...the thing going on my window is a design from UT.It was on the Flags in CTF mode.Thnx DOR.Ill get pics up soon...so many tho.peace!

Well I know one thing for sure... I'm not getting one...

I don't like the looks of em... they look way to plastic
and the alien face anoyed me.

tell me what is really so damn special about them cause I don't see it.
what's inside you can get on any PC.

and IMO the best thing is a self choosen set without any brand who brings it together and add loads of useless software on it.. simply build it yourself and if you can't ask a friend, there is always someone who can do that. safes money stuff.

My PC is completely choosen by meself.
I simply liked the blue led in the fans cause they fit my blue led in the front. (and they where only 8 euro a piece)
but now I am already planing of buying a new case and some replacement hardware.

Alienware = money money money money money

Too much money, in fact. They want you to shell out $2000 for a subpar 3ghz Pentium 4/FX5200 system, $1500 more than what the system's worth. Even Dell and Gateway build better systems for the price.

Thats like a stupid statement(not that you are) because everyone knows that and its nothing special.Alienwares are way over priced because of the badge, dells are alright but those tiny crappy cases are to small to mod and upgrade in the future, and gateway, well,no one really buys those anyways.Thats wy im trying to build my case now.ive finally built it on the inside, but now,im cutting up the case, painting it,modding it with bright shiny garbage so i can say voila!well....

Peace!

http://eu.shuttle.com/news_casemodding2$.htm

My Schuttle XPC can be modded quite heavily. I like mine because of it's retro look - like from 1980s. But it's very easily moddable and can be made into some pieces of artwork.

May be for my next Shuttle I'd go for an all silver smooth look, but thus far Black brushed aluminum prooved to be very easy to look after for.

Yeah right.if someone is too lazy to mod a tower case, how can they work on those migit mods?so no,i dont think theyre easily modded, but very rarely do you see good one...usually,they are just the neons or clear plastic cases.
